Quiet Child are a four piece alternative rock band from Adelaide, South Australia, consisting of Paul on drums, Jason on guitar, Pete on vocals and guitar and Brent on bass. Their music ranges from two minute blasts of furious riff filled rock, to long, grandiose epics propelled by major dynamic shifts and melodic and rhythmic complexities. Quiet Child released their self titled debut e.p. in early 2007.
Sydney band Sunnyboys remain one of the most highly regarded and best-loved bands of the Australian post-punk era. Fronted by the enigmatic and youthful singer/songwriter and guitarist Jeremy Oxley, the band breathed some freshness and vitality into the Sydney music scene in the early 80s.
Essentially Sunnyboys wore their influences on their sleeve - The Remains, The Flamin' Groovies, The Kinks and The Beatles with a dash of Detroit muscle thrown in for good measure. They produced melodic power pop classics and were rewarded with an immediate positive response.
Between 1980 and 1984 they released their self-titled EP (1980) and 3 albums: "Sunnyboys" (1981), "Individuals" (1982) and "Get Some Fun" (1984).
However, Jeremy Oxley's battle with schizophrenia plagued the band and Sunnyboys announced their break-up in June 1984. Their farewell tour produced the album "Real Live" which was recorded over two nights in Sydney (29th and 30th June).
In 1985, the French label Closer combined The Sunnyboys' first two albums as a double set entitled "Days Are Gone" for the European market.
In late 1987, Jeremy Oxley attempted to revive Sunnyboys with a new line-up. The new band signed a deal with RCA and released an album entitled "Wildcat" (produced by ex-Sherbet keyboard player, Garth Porter). The album failed to convince old Sunnyboys fans and the band broke up again in 1990.
In July 1991, Mushroom released the compilation album "Plays The Best" and the original line-up reunited for a national tour.
Also "Shakin' - Live 1991" (1993, live cd + "Sunnyboys" EP) has been released by Phantom and "This Is Real" (2004, double-CD, Singles/Live/Rare) by Feel Presents.

Justice Crew are an all-male hip-hop dance and musical group from Sydney, Australia, who were the winners of Australia's Got Talent in 2010. The group consists of Emmanuel Rodriguez, Samson Smith, Omar Kamara, Lenny and John Pearce, Anastasios Repousis, Lukas Bellesini, Paulie Merciadez and Solo Tohi. They cover many forms of dance, from Krumping to B-Boy, Hip-Hop and Breaking. Justice Crew made their musical debut in August 2010 with the single "And Then We Dance".
Dead Letter Circus is a four-piece music group from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Their music style is a combination of melodic alternative rock and indie rock, with alternative metal and progressive rock influences. Major influences of the band include Faith No More, Muse, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, U2, Cog, Deftones, Tomahawk, Massive Attack, Shihad, The Butterfly Effect, Portishead, Karnivool and At The Drive-In.
Since their formation in late 2008 the band focused on spending 2009 to rehearse and record their first EP. This attempt by the band has proved promising as 2010 has seen the youthful five-piece; Sign a deal with New Justice Records to support the release of their debut EP “We’re Not Alone” in April to most recently supporting Switchfoot (US), Senses Fail (US), MM9 (AUS), 28 DAYS (AUS), Snob Scrilla (AUS) and also an intimate acoustic set with MXPX’s Mike Herrera on their respective Sydney shows.
I Killed the Prom Queen is an Australian <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/metalcore" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">metalcore</a> band which formed in 2000 in Adelaide, South Australia with mainstays JJ Peters on drums and Jona Weinhofen on guitar. The band featured prominently on the Australian live music scene and toured the USA, Japan and parts of Europe several times. They issued two studio albums, When Goodbye Means Forever... Darren Stanley Hayes (born 8 May 1972 in Brisbane, QLD) is an Australian singer-songwriter. He's best known as the vocalist of the hugely popular 90's duo Savage Garden, whose international hits included "Truly Madly Deeply", "I Want You" and "I Knew I Loved You". Hayes' first solo album Spin was released in 2002, carrying on in the same musical vein as Savage Garden, with a less soft rock sound and more edgy R&B vibe, although the first single Insatiable was a ballad, reaching Number 3 in Australia.
The Silents is a four-piece band from Perth, Western Australia. Benjamin Stowe and Jamie Terry began writing and recording music heavily influenced by early sixties psychedelic and beat music in the second half of 2002. In September 2003, Stowe watched friend Sam Ford’s band perform at a local Perth hotel and, after the show, asked if both Ford and drummer Alex Board would be interested in joining he and Terry to form a band.
