Tina Arena (born Filippina Lydia Arena on 1 November 1967, in Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian singer and songwriter. Her career began at the age of seven when she was selected as a regular performer for the music television program Young Talent Time. As a child Arena attracted attention for the power of her voice, which was considered remarkable for such a young child. She was born to Italian parents and has a sister, Nancy (born 1961). Working out of Sydney, Katalyst received the prestigious 'Best Producer' award at the Australian Dance Music Awards in 2002. Before embarking on a solo career, Ashley Anderson's previous work has included an album with producer Illpickl. Under the name of Moonrock, the two producers released a self titled album in 1998. Tracks from this self titled album featured on many compilation albums during the late '90s. This then served as a launching pad for Ashley's solo career.

Lady Lash is a Melbourne-based rapper of Aboriginal and Greek background. Lash features as part of the Push It Crew and the Dig Deep Project, both hip-hop associations prominent on the Melbourne rap scene. Born in the remote town of Ceduna, on the Great Australian Bight, she states the following description on her website: I'm a female aboriginal artist with multiple singing styles. Singing since I was a child and was heavily influenced by my Families wide and diverse taste in music - Rock, Country, Soul, Blues, Jazz and Old School Hip hop.

The title "Oh Ye Denver Birds" was taken from a phrase out of the book "On The Road" by Jack Kerouac. Oh Ye Denver Birds is a project formed by Dominic Stephens in late 2008 and has now become a quartet. Oh Ye Denver Birds is known as an ambient, alternative folk band with elements of surf rock and accapella and is based in Brisbane. Some have written "haunted alternative folk with pop sensibilities...Ambient melodies from the early morning, earthly percussion and choir-like harmony". Somewhere between Grizzly Bear and The Beatles.
