Alice Through The Windshield Glass

Formed in late 2007, Sydney's Alice Through The Windshield Glass ruthlessly fuse tech-death metal and hardcore, creating a menacing brand of modern death metal. Comprising of their 5 original members, the band have developed a predominantly deathcore sound with a writing style not commonly seen in Australia. Grant Eidintas and Adrian Sahid's guitar riffage have an evident European flair, accompanied by unrelentless waves of blast beats and double kick rhythms by Tim Cetin.

Faux Pas was also a hardcore/metal band from a Mugla, Turkey. The band performed numerous shows and recorded two demos before splitting in 2002. Two of the band's former members accordingly transferred to The Sky We Scrape, a post-rock band in istanbul.

Totally Gourdgeous

Totally Gourdgeous play instruments made from gourds, but that's just the start of it.
Penelope Swales (guitar), Carl Pannuzzo (drums), Mal Webb (bass, mbira and bugle) and Andrew Clermont (violin, mandolin and guitar) sing songs (written by them and a few dear friends) of love, fellowship and environmental sanity. Folk-Funk-Philosophy. Outrageous eclectic beauty, united under gourd. Imagine Joni Mitchell and James Brown getting down in Bob Marley's pumpkin patch in glitzy costumes.
