Missy Higgins

Missy Higgins (born Melissa Morrison Higgins on August 19, 1983, in Melbourne, Australia) is one of Australia's most popular female singer-songwriters. Missy (Melissa) was thrust into the limelight in her homeland when her sister entered Missy into a competition, which she won. The competition was conducted by the national alternative broadcaster, Triple J. Although she was still in high school, her song All For Believing quickly became one of the station's most requested tracks of 2001. In 2005, Missy took out 5 major ARIA Awards: Album of the Year (for The Sound Of White), Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist - Album (for The Sound Of White) and Highest Selling Album.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1. Innsmouth are a death metal trio from the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia, formed in 2008. They deal mainly with themes from H.P. Lovecraft's horror fiction universe. Currently, they only have one demo release, called 'The Departure Of Shub-Niggurath' (2009). 2. A black metal band from the Dominican Republic, formed in 2004.

Ed Kuepper is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter. He co-founded the seminal punk band The Saints, the experimental post-punk group The Laughing Clowns and later the grunge-like The Aints. Horsell Common

Horsell Common were an Australian band from Melbourne, Victoria that was formed in 2001. They made their live debut in early 2002, following this up with a string of EPs, and released their first full-length album The Rescue on 29 September 2007. The first single off the album - titled "Good From Afar" - was released on 1 September 2007 and received national airplay on the triple j radio station.

He has been featured in FHM, Rolling Stone, Ralph and Urb and also writes for some music papers. Kid Kenobi has fans all over the globe and a large following in Australia. He has also mixed so many CDs for Ministry Of Sound Australia that they made him his own "Sessions" series. He recently mixed the Ministry Of Sound Clubber's Guide to 2007 with Goodwill.

Candlesnuffer is the physical incarnation of the music of David Brown. David's history around the Melbourne scene extends back to the mid-70's when fresh out of school he joined AC/DC, only to be given the boot three weeks later for excessive artistic endeavour. He later formed Signals with fellow fine art students David Wadelton and Chris Knowles. In 1987 and 1988 he was playing with Dumb and the Ugly.

After the departure of founding member M. Sanchez, the band relocated to Melbourne City and changed their sound to a more Napalm Death influenced blend of Napalm Death and Napalm Death.
