Mother Mars came into existence in 2002. They lean more towards a sound of heavy fuzzed-out grooves while also taking in elements of the psychedelic and doom.
They are based in Sydney, Australia and have been playing shows since 2003. In mid 2007 they released an ep called Take The Ride and an album 'Primitives' in early 2009.

There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Lowrider is a swedish stoner rock band, formed in the mid-1990s by bassist/singer Peder Bergstrand and lead guitarist/singer Ole Hellquist, along with guitarist Niclas Stalfors and drummer Andreas Eriksson. Lowrider released the Nebula/Lowrider Double EP in 1999 together with ambassadors of psychedelic stoner rock, Nebula, who had just come into existence after their members departed from Fu Manchu.
Creeping is a Stoner/Black Metal band from New Zealand. Featuring members of Stoner outfit The House of Capricorn, Creeping play black metal infused with wicked groove and rock elements similar to bands like Craft and Darkthrone meets Kyuss + a lot of drugs! The Atomic Bitchwax are a rock band formed in a basement during the mid 1990s by then 25 year olds Chris Kosnik of Atlantic Records "Godspeed" and Ed Mundell of A&M Records "Monster Magnet" both from Long Branch, New Jersey. HWCT are an instrumental noise rock duo with a heavy focus on improvisation and a love of loud volume and the psychedelic. Since the creation of this band it’s been about the love of stoner rock and fun. We love Kyuss, we love chilling out and we love groovin’. After a few line up changes we've gotten together what we believe to be a strong musical force. Since acquiring a new singer, we've recorded a five track EP entitled, Stay For Tea. For the fans of fat tones, pounding drums and groovin' bass this should be pleasing to the ear.
Summonus formed in mid 2007 in Sydney, Australia through like-minded musicians wanting to create punishing and brutal sounds involving huge groove based guitar riffs, hauling powerful drums and acidic, gravel-fuelled vocals. Each band member has had experience playing in numerous other bands in Sydney, Melbourne and Scotland over the years from a variety of styles including Grindcore, Hardcore, Punk and Rock.
By taking the low end guitar heavy elements of stoner rock and merging it with a keen ear for a catchy hook Don Fernando are showing that heavy music can be combined with a pop sensibility to create something unique and exciting, the music is heavy, the guitars are about as loud as you could possibly imagine and their gigs will leave you planted firmly on your arse while humming their melodies and lamenting lost love.
Karma to Burn is an American instrumental stoner rock band. The band was formed in 1994, in Hicksville, West Virginia (actually Morgantown, West Virginia, though this was a running joke also reflected in bios of the band on other Web sites). The band is currently located in Los Angeles. Their instrumental album Almost Heathen is widely regarded as on par Kyuss' Welcome To Sky Valley and Monster Magnet's Spine of God, as one of the defining albums of the stoner rock genre, although the band themselves referred to their style as malternative.
