Lazy Grey has been an Australian hip hop icon since the early 90’s. With an unmistakable, impeccable delivery and reputation for witty and honest rhymes, Lazy has forged his way into the "Top 10 MC" lists of both artists and punters Australia-wide. Often partnering up with fellow Brisbane MC Len One to create music as Brothers Stoney, Lazy Grey brings the real BBQ funk with rare funk samples and gritty drums.

A-Diction is a Melbourne-based hip-hop group consisting of two MC's (Breach and Boltz). In 2005, they dropped their debut EP "To Be Announced" to rave reviews. While Breach was away roaming the globe in 2006, Boltz kept busy in the studio releasing his anticipated solo LP "The Wishlist". Their new LP is in works now.

Hail Mary Mallon

Hail Mary Mallon is a hip-hop group formed in 2009 by Definitive Jux rapper/producers Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz. Their first officially released track, "D-Up", was featured on the 2009 compilation Def Jux Presents... Vol. 4. Their debut album 'Are You Going To Eat That', was released on the 3rd of May 2011. Their name refers to Mary Mallon or "Typhoid Mary", the first known healthy carrier of typhoid fever in the United States, who infected 53 people with the disease as she continued to work as a cook while denying she had it.

22-year-old MC Skryptcha is the latest member of the Obese Records stable writing his way to the upper echelon of Australian hip hop. Taking his first lyrical strides in 2003, Skryptcha is blessed by the gifts of a musical family; a grandfather who spent the 60’s distilling in Sydney’s jazz movement and a concert pianist grandmother who became Australia’s first entrant into New York’s prestigious Julliard school of music, his instrumentally-charged upbringing laid the foundations for a distinct vocal talent that would ultimately evolve into his debut EP, Left to Write.

He is also a member of Brisbane electro cabaret super group MONSTER ZOKU ONSOMB! Who have been tearing apart crowds of every denomination for 5 or so years. Teleprompter

Teleprompter are a band from Brisbane, Australia. Formed in 2006, the band has been gigging locally and nationally since 2008 and have gained a reputation for their energetic and eccentric live shows. Taking direction from the dancier side of post-punk, Teleprompter have grown into their own unique sound. Recently, they have recorded their debut EP with Yama Indra of Gloves/Damn Arms fame, which is set for release in late April (2011).
