Songs born of their broad range of influences from Elbow and Radiohead to Mew and Explosions In The Sky are accompanied by lush orchestral arrangements and the sincere falsetto vocals of Timothy Sutcliffe. This gives the music they create a blend of classic pop with unpredictable structures and epic climaxes reminiscent of The National or Sigur Rós.
There is more than one artist with this name... 1) A Canadian based band formed in 1978. The groups' self titled album 'Promises' was a flop except for it's single 'Baby It's You'. In Europe the single was a smash hit, especially Germany where it reached no.4. In Australia the song was hugely sucessful. But after the release of the second single, the group split. 2) One of the most famous groups in Klatovy (Czech Republic). Their career developed after the band participation on the metal compilation Breath Of Doom and since that time they played in dozens of concerts and several festivals.
Faker is an Australian alternative rock band, formed in Sydney in 1996. The band consists of vocalist Nathan Hudson, drummer Evan Mannell, guitarist Nic Munnings, and bassist Ash Moss. Their touring keyboardist is Dizzi de Cazz. The band has released two studio albums, and despite forming in 1996, Faker's first studio album Addicted Romantic, was only released in 2005. Prior to that, the band played multiple local gigs, and also released two EPs. In 2007, Faker became a mainstream success with their second album, Be the Twilight, and went on to continue touring nationally.

Trial Kennedy are an alternative rock band from Melbourne, Victoria that formed in 2002. Since their formation, the band have increased in popularity significantly due to their prolific touring and from the support of independent Australian radio shows, such as Triple J's punk and hardcore-oriented show, ShortFastLoud. The band's unique name comes from a music teacher, Mark Kennedy. When the band met in high school, they were all seeing Kennedy as their guitar tutor."We all 'trialled' off him", noted guitarist Stacey Gray.
T'Pau was a late-1980s rock group led by singer Carol Decker. They had a string of Top 40 hits in the UK, and several hits in the United States and Europe. T'Pau formed in 1986. The members originated from the towns of Shrewsbury and Wellington in central England and took their name from a Vulcan high priestess in the classic Star Trek episode Amok Time. Their debut single and first hit was the 1987 release Heart and Soul. Joe Camilleri (born 1948 in Malta) is a legendary Australian singer, songwriter and saxophonist. He has also recorded under the pseudonums "Jo Jo Zep" and "Joey Vincent". He began his music career playing blues and R&B, and in the late 1960s he was a member of Adderly Smith Blues Band but according to Australian rock historian Ed Nimmervoll Camilleri was sacked for sounding too much like Mick Jagger and for upstaging the other band members.
