Red Jezebel

Perth based Red Jezebel formed in 1997, taking their name from a code-word utilised in a local supermarket chain, the original four-piece consisting of Paul Wood (Vocals & Guitar), Chris Hayes (Guitar), Mark Cruickshank (Bass) & Alex Hyman (Drums). In November 2004 the band parted on good terms with a newly-wed Chris Hayes and guitar duties were taken on by WAMI award-winning producer Dave Parkin (Snowman, Bob Evans, The Panda Band, The Exploders).

Marching Orders

Marching Orders was conceived in 2002. A 3 track demo was recorded, but the original lineup disbanded before playing live. After a years hiatus, the band was resurrected with Al on vocals being joined by Chris on drums, Ben on guitar and Ander on bass. After six months of songwriting and practice, the addition of Phil on lead guitar further solidified the bands musical direction.
This line up released the independent six track ‘Last Drinks’ EP in 2005 and in 2006 contributed two songs to a split 7” with Canada’s Alternate Action on Longshot records.

The Lovetones

The Lovetones is led by Matthew J. Tow (acoustic & electric guitars / sitar / autoharp / vocals), formerly of Drop City, Colorsound and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, along with Matt Sigley (bass / keyboards / vocals) and Chris Cobb (drums / percussion). The Lovetones released their debut album, Be What You Want in 2002 through Bomp! Records, creating a palpable buzz amongst critics from the likes of Creem and Rolling Stone magazine. The latter hailed mainman Matthew J Tow's songwriting worthy of Ray Davies, Bowie, Lennon and McCartney: a bold statement, yet in his case, completely justified.

Rev. Kriss Hades

Reverend Kriss Hades is an artist from Sydney, Australia who is proficient at painting, drawing, playing and composing guitar and multimedia. He has had an art show and has played numerous concerts that are bending the norms of what live music and art constitute. If his influences had to be chosen, one would say he stemmed from Black Metal. His live performances usually consist of him standing robed on stage furiously playing improvised guitar over basic backing music which changes with each performance.

Severed Heads

An Australian electronic group formed in Sydney, Australia in 1979, Severed Heads have released albums ranging from <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/experimental" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">experimental</a> <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/industrial%20noise" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">industrial noise</a> to <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/synthpop" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">synthpop</a> influenced <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/dance" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">dance</a> music. The original members were Richard Fielding and Andrew Wright, and were soon joined by Tom Ellard. This later changed to Garry Bradbury, Paul Deering, and Tom Ellard; Ellard has been the only one to remain throughout the group's career, with changing lineups throughout its two and a half decades of existence, later working mainly with Stephen Jones.

DEAD LETTER OPENER

Formed in early 2005 in Brisbane, Australia. DEAD LETTER OPENER met whilst they were studying music and technology at a Brisbane University, and initially formed the group to complete a recording project imperative to two of the members studies. The potential of becoming a full-time was realised almost immediately and DLO set out to finalise their debut EP and secure national distribution for it. Managing to record and produce the entire EP as a band with help from a friend from University, who is now their full-time live sound engineer...

Clue to Kalo

Clue to Kalo is a folktronica band from Adelaide, Australia. Originally a pseudonym for singer / producer Mark Mitchell, who still writes all of the material, the Clue To Kalo live band is a 3-piece. They have toured with Her Space Holiday and Architecture in Helsinki. Mark previously recorded as Super Science.

The Aston Shuffle

In 2005 after being friends and associated production whores with Mikah Freeman, Vance Musgrove & Ross McGrath started their digital label project, dubbed The Aston Shuffle. What started off as a group effort to get their previously unreleased tunes to the masses has skyrocketed into 2007 with the group heavily in demand for their white hot remixes – a little electro, a little techno, but all house. When the swing on their tunes hits the dance floor you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised how hard it is keep your body from going retarded.

Darren Hayes

Darren Stanley Hayes (born 8 May 1972 in Brisbane, QLD) is an Australian singer-songwriter. He's best known as the vocalist of the hugely popular 90's duo Savage Garden, whose international hits included "Truly Madly Deeply", "I Want You" and "I Knew I Loved You". Hayes' first solo album Spin was released in 2002, carrying on in the same musical vein as Savage Garden, with a less soft rock sound and more edgy R&B vibe, although the first single Insatiable was a ballad, reaching Number 3 in Australia.
