Aural Window

“I have listened to the EP about three times and must say that I am impressed with the sound and emotion contained within the compositions.” - Peter Merritt, 106.7 PBSfm. Hailing from Melbourne, Aural Window has been quietly building a loyal army of fans. The band came together as five musicians who have completely different musical influences wanted to create something that is heavy and emotional, yet melodic and memorable. Their live shows are explosive and energetic, with blistering guitars and soaring vocals, you can feel their passion with every thump that reverberates in your chest.

The Whole Molko

The Whole Molko is a band shrouded in myth, folklore and utter bullshit.
Just ask them. "The Whole Molko is a sexual position from Afghanistan," claims Figgers the lead singer of the Melbourne 4 piece. "I couldn't tell you what it involves or what limbs are entangled, but let's just say it's complicated. Like those crappy relationship statuses on social networking sites." From humble beginnings, the 4 Molkos, (Dave "Posh" Crowe, Sean "Baby" Figgers...

Kinematic

Kinematic have been making music for a while and it's something they love doing. They've created a mix of sonic treats, ranging from thoughtful folk music to distortion laced indie rock, with a whole bunch of indie pop songs that fall somewhere in between.

Kinematic are unsigned and independent. They’ve managed to self-produce a string of single, album and video releases and the band are justifiably proud of that. They do everything … writing, recording, producing, releasing, promoting … which means they have the freedom to do whatever they want, and to do it their own way.

Best Before

In the Melbourne music scene, it seems musical fashions and trends change almost as often as the weather. However, unlike the completely erratic weather patterns, some things are true of all good artists. A solid work ethic is a must, though time and effort alone cannot buy the connection between a great singer and his audience. Like a rainbow in the storm; Best Before emerge amongst an increasingly heavy music scene to re-kindle the free spirited joy of a smooth melody, the delight of a cheeky bass line and the liberating honesty of a simple love song shared amongst friends and strangers.
