Macabre

There are two entries for this name. 1. Macabre are a pioneering death metal band from the USA. They were formed in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, and ever since have never had a line-up change. They blend thrash metal, death metal and grindcore to form their own unique style dubbed Murder Metal. Oddly enough, although being one of the first bands ever to play death metal, their influence is not as far reaching as one would think.

Kittie

Morgan Lander (guitar/vocals)
Mercedes Lander (drums)
Tara McLeod (guitar)
Ivy Vujic (bass) If you're looking for subtle, look somewhere else. Kittie have never been for the faint of heart, but on new release I've Failed You the Canadian quartet redefine the scope of their heavy metal vision. They forge extreme anger with extreme vulnerability, splatter innocence with a foreboding doom, and bleed beauty and ugliness into a swirling aural mask. I've Failed You leverages the raw nerves of a brittle psyche against an unyielding human spirit, and elevates Kittie to all new extremes.

Terror

Many bands with the same name: 1) Terror, a hardcore band from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in early 2002.
Though the group consider themselves a "hardcore" band, guitarist Doug Weber says Terror, "sounds like all of the old metal bands I used to listen to. It's just not crazy Swedish metal or something, it sounds like old thrash." Terror has been very successful in their time as a band. Their album One with the Underdogs sold over 40,000 copies. They have also been on tours throughout Europe, Australia, Brazil and Japan.

Artist Type:

The Devil Rides Out

"Soulful and blues-colored rock ’n' roll that would fit quite nicely as a soundtrack to a biker movie with hairy reprobates swigging bourbon and riding choppers in between sessions of vandalism. Imagine a band that is the sum of ZZ Top, AC/DC, Led Zep, Miller High Life, sunshine, sideburns, and convertibles and you will come pretty close to physically defining The Devil Rides Out."- STONERROCK.COM

Thomas Covenant

Thomas Covenant is an experimental punk outfit from Wollongong, and a favourite of local radio station i98fm. They are categorized by their eclecticism and high octane shows in which something always gets broken.

Bridgemary Kiss

WHY I LIKE BRIDGEMARY KISS…
by Jake Stone (Rolling Stone, The Brag, SMH Metro)
“I don’t care what people call us; I just want to be good” says impish UK ex-pat singer/guitarist Brett Ramson. “I want people to sing along to it, and relate.” Bridgemary Kiss from Sydney’s Northern Beaches teams propulsive punk energy with classic Britpop, and an infectious sense of swagger and fun. Despite being barely out of school, they’re still the most promising rock band I’ve seen in a long while.
