Sevenskies

"Sevenskies are a Hardcore band from Cairns, they formed in May of 2009 and have been working hard ever since to write the best heavy music they can. They recorded their first EP in February of 2010 in Sydney at Freefall Studios and the popularity of their music hasn't stopped growing since then. They have gone through their fair share of difficulties along the way, including a lineup change, but that hasn't stopped them from reaching for the top." - Quote Triple J Unearthered

Taking Dawn

The members of Taking Dawn grew up surrounded by the glitz and glam, the bright lights and big city of constant vice. This LasVegas upbringing helped shaped the band into what it is today: a rock 'n roll timebomb just waiting to explode on an unsuspecting public with its Roadrunner debut, Time to Burn. Custard

Custard were a masterful band of pop craftsmen with an uncanny grasp of the two-minute-something single who seemed to have equal amounts of Devo, Pavement and, oddly, disco in their genetic makeup. They were also blessed with singer Dave McCormack, whose voice was innocent and boyish-sounding enough to get away with things that might ordinarily cause a fuss – from songs about speed labs to geeky dedications to Jim Henson and an infamous declaration that “music is crap”.
