Rammstein is a German metal band which was formed in 1994, in Berlin, and consists of Till Lindemann (lead vocals), Richard Kruspe (lead guitar and backing vocals), Paul Landers (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Oliver Riedel (bass guitar, "Ollie"), Christoph Schneider (drums and Electronic percussion, "Doom") and Christian Lorenz (keyboards, "Flake"). The band is widely accepted as part of the Neue Deutsche Härte scene, alongside bands such as Oomph! and Die Krupps.
In This Moment is a melodic metalcore band, formed in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States in 2005. Their first album, entitled Beautiful Tragedy, was released on March 20th, 2007 on Century Media Records. The band's sound falls on the melodic side of the metalcore spectrum, with vocalist Maria Brink utilizing both screams and a good deal of clean, emotive singing, the latter being even more prominent on the band's second album, The Dream, released in 2008. Voltera are a multi-faceted four piece currently residing in Melbourne Australia. Deep from the underground, their sound is a sophisticated, emotive and distinct manipulation of the darker genres. Voltera draw on their collective musical tastes to create an eclectic twist on metal and industrial sounds with a predominant female vocal ranging from dark and melodic, to a guttural bawl, thus delivering a powerful and intense live performance. 1) Gojira is a progressive death metal band from Bayonne, France. Their lyrics focus on life, ecology, and spiritual themes. They were formed in 1996 by brothers Joe Duplantier (vocals and lead guitar) and Mario Duplantier (drums), Christian Andreu (guitar) and Jean-Michel Labadie (bass guitar). They had initially named their group Godzilla, but due to legal constraints had to change their name. They therefore chose to re-name their band Gojira - the original Japanese version of their name (in Japanese Gojira means gorilla-whale or gorilla the size of a whale).
Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens, born as Timothy S. Owens on September 13, 1967 in Akron, Ohio. The young Ohio salesman and tribute band frontman made headlines in 1996 when from a fan he became the frontman for the British metal act Judas Priest, filling the shoes of Rob Halford (and, by doing so, inspired the movie Rock Star, which was later discredited by the band). Despite numerous rumours that Rob Halford would reunite with Judas Priest, Owens recorded two studio albums with his childhood heroes, as well as two live albums and a 2002 DVD release.
