As I Lay Dying

As I Lay Dying is an American metalcore band from San Diego, California. Founded in 2000 by Tim Lambesis and having completed their first Line-up in 2001, the band consists of vocalist Tim Lambesis, drummer Jordan Mancino, lead guitarist Nick Hipa, rhythm guitarist Phil Sgrosso, and bassist Josh Gilbert, all of whom are Christians. Signed to Metal Blade Records, As I Lay Dying has released four studio albums, one split album, and one compilation album.

Hung

There are two bands that go by the name Hung: 1: Hung is an Extreme Progressive Metal band from the United States. The violinist Lyris Hung gives the name to this band which is quite an original mixture of melodic death and black with progressive elements, plus the unusual addition of a electric violin. 2: Hung was a high school band formed by Chad, Jordan, Mark, and Dan. The played several Ann Arbor, MI shows before disbanding to form several other bands including So&so and the Down-Low and Paranoid Nation.

Darkest Hour

Darkest Hour is a melodic death metal/metalcore band currently signed to E1 Music. The band is officially based in Washington, DC, but several of the members live in Richmond, Virginia. Their sound is akin to classic European metal acts such as At the Gates and In Flames, but it is noted for the incorporation of elements of punk and hardcore music. Over the years they have toured with many influential acts, including The Crown, ZAO, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Thrice, and Soilwork. They also played 2004's Ozzfest.

Starforge

The story of Starforge began in the year 2007 when Andy Suppradit decided it was time to unleash his own brand of melodic death metal upon the Australian metal scene. Inspired by the sounds of the Scandinavian scene and elements from Thrash, Death, Black and Power metal, Andy spent 2008 composing what would be Starforge's first demo 'Infinite'. Before the songs had been written, Josh Mcmaster was chosen to be the vocalist. This was a natural choice as Josh and Andy have been working together musically since 2004 through many projects including grindcore band Mutant On A Forklift.

Fiend

1) Fiend is a melodic death metal band from Moscow, Russia. The band was formed in December 2007, its members are:

Glum - guitars
Podpol - bass
DW - drums
On the 30th of January, 2009 the first album "The Blooming Tremble" was released. Its style may be determined as modern melodic death metal reminiscent of later In Flames works.
Even though the band is young, Fiend has already managed to perform on one stage with such famous band as Pain.

Gallows For Grace

Gallows For Grace is a technical death metal band from Perth, Australia. Formed in early 2006, Gallows for Grace is the creation of five like minded musicians aspiring to produce a new sound. As a result, their music has evolved into an original, energetic, brutal and melodic blend of death metal, metalcore and thrash metal with an extremely dark undertone.
A blazing onslaught of technical riffery, lightning fast drumming and crushing guttural vocals, GFG's debut EP attempts to push the boundaries of death metal by blurring the line between traditional and modern styles.

Times of Grace

Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and former KsE vocalist Jesse Leach are reuniting for a brand new band, Times Of Grace. Their stunning debut album ‘The Hymn of A Broken Man’ is set for release via Roadrunner Records on November 8. (delayed til Jan 18, 2011) The multi-talented Dutkiewicz plays all the instruments on the record and contributes backing (and occasional lead) vocals as well as handling all production duties.

Eye of the Enemy

Spawned in the armpits of Melbourne, Eye of the Enemy ripped their way into the metal scene in 2006 with the debut release of their Demo. Show after show of unrelenting aggression and energy assured countless live performances with the best that the Melbourne metal scene had to offer. After a year of unleashing hell with a fast growing fan base after the release of the demo, Eye of the Enemy decided it was time to close the doors in late 2007 to write and record new material to unleash on the world.

The Black Dahlia Murder

The Black Dahlia Murder are a metal band from Waterford, Michigan, formed in 2000. Their band name is derived from the unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, often referred to as; Black Dahlia, Black Dahlia Murder or BDM. Current Line-Up:

Heaven Shall Burn

Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. The name is taken from a Marduk album titled "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered". In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: "It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning.
