Mourning Tide

Gold Coast, Australia: 2000-present Gold Coast rockers Mourning Tide began in 2000, as four friends with the same vision: to be the most entertaining and unique band in the emerging hardcore/metal scene. Touring hard and partying harder has earned them a strong local following on the East Coast. In 2003, Mourning Tide released their successful self-titled debut EP, through Modern Music/Sony/BMG.

Lucero

There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Lucero is an American punk/country infused rock band that is based in Memphis, Tennessee. 2) Lucero, Mexican actress and singing sensation. 1) Lucero's punk rock roots flavor their now "country-ish" music, while their Southern roots give them the twang that they have come to be known by. The band played for the first time in early 1998. Since 2001, they have played between 150 and 200 shows a year across the United States and Canada. They have released seven full-length albums, the latest entitled 1372 Overton Park.

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Creedence Clearwater Revival, frequently referred to as CCR or simply Creedence, was an American roots rock band, fronted by John Fogerty. The band started out as The Blue Velvets, formed by John Fogerty, Doug Clifford, and Stu Cook in El Cerrito, California in the late 1950s. They were an instrumental trio, however during the early '60s they began backing Tom Fogerty, John's older brother, for school dances at El Cerrito High School, on fraternity house gigs and in the recording studio.

Yep, that's right folks. WH Monks is at it again. When Gay Paris formed a year ago, they were telling anyone in earshot that that they were too sweet for the Devil to lick and too damn hot for God to dance to.

Dora Maar is a 4-piece indie/screamo band from Brunswick, GA. For far too long, they've been drowned in their local hardcore scene, where every band sounds identical to the next. Dora Maar decided to break away from the trend, and try something different. Throughout their days, Dora Maar has been through many changes including the lineup, image, and genre. From the beginning, they have experimented with different styles of music, always striving to come up with something completely unique.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds

The Fabulous Thunderbirds are a blues-rock band, formed in 1974. Their original line up included guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, the older brother of the influential electrical blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. After performing for several years in the Austin, Texas blues scene, they earned a recording contract with Chrysalis Records and later signed to Arista. The first two albums released in 1979 and 1980 (with Keith Ferguson on bass and Mike Buck on drums), did not initially sell well, but are now regarded as successful white blues recordings.

Sky High

Swedish blues/rock band similar to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. After numerous line-up changes over the years, and the only constant member, guitarist/singer Clas Yngström in front, the band Sky High continues to perform powerful bluesrock. Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1978, Clas Yngström & Sky High released albums all through the 80's, and the most commersial sucessfull album to date, Humanizer in 1987.

Cancer Bats

Cancer Bats are a 4 piece hardcore punk / metal band who have come to destroy. Fueled by a burning desire to rage harder, play louder and have more fun than any other band, Cancer Bats mix hardcore, southern metal, and punk rock into a lethal rock and roll explosion. The band originated in May of 2004 with singer Liam Cormier and guitarist Scott Middleton, former member of Toronto metal band At The Mercy Of Inspiration.

Led by lead guitarist Terry Clarke (born Terence Clarke, in 1947, in Reading, Berkshire), who used a homebuilt custom instrument, the group included drummer Rod Meacham (born Roderick Meacham, 25 March 1943, in Bristol, Somerset died 21 March 2002, in Bristol), bassist Michael Brice, and Johnny Payne on rhythm guitar.

ZZ Top

ZZ Top is an American blues rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. The band members are Billy Gibbons (vocals and guitar), Dusty Hill (bass guitar and vocals), and Frank Beard (drums). They hold the distinction of being one of the few rock bands still comprising its original members for nearly 40 years, and until 2006, with the same manager/producer, Bill Ham. They reached the peak of their commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s, scoring many hit songs during that era; but they remain together today and are still touring and releasing albums.
