Still, they all seem oddly appropriate when trying to get a handle on what Sydney's Cabins are. With a sound that is uniquely theirs, they sift through rubble in the musical junkyard pulling out shards of glass and little treasures, and making them into songs.

Tumbleweed is firstly a highly influential Australian rock band from the 90's, a country rock band from Norway and a bonecrushing instro/surf band from Sweden. Tumbleweed (Australia) filled the stoner-rock void in Australia during the heavy grunge years of the 1990s. As the opening band for Nirvana on their 1992 tour of Australia, Tumbleweed was able to reach out into the mainstream with their crunchy-psychedelica and the subtle vocal stylings of singer Richie Lewis.

Alana Bruce is a 25 yr old Melbourne based musician, who has been involved in a variety of projects. Trained in both classical and contemporary music, Alana began her musical exploration at a young age, learning the piano as a child and the guitar as a teenager. Exposed to a wide range of musical styles, including Classical, Jazz, Rock, Samba and Bossanova at high school, she graduated in the top 10 in the state for VCE solo performance piano. Delving further into composition, Alana broadened her musical vocabulary through her exploration of a diverse range of sounds and styles.

Sarah Blasko (born September 23, 1976) is an ARIA Award winning Australian musician. She was born in Sydney soon after her family returned from French-speaking Réunion where her parents had been missionaries. An original and largely self-reliant musical artist, Blasko is known for her writing and production skills, as well as her unique voice and stage presence. Blasko was first heard in the mid-1990s fronting Sydney band, Acquiesce, after an initial tour of France with founding members Dave Hemmings, Paul Camilleri, and her sister Kate Halcrow.
In June this year, John Butler proudly announced the new line up of the ever evolving John Butler Trio. Prominent Melbourne musician Nicky Bomba (drums and percussion) of ‘Bomba’ fame and principal drummer on ‘Sunrise Over Sea’ joined the band and bass player Byron Luiters from Sydney outfit Ray Mann Three completed the new line up.
