Malignant Monster

Malignant Monster is raw, cutting-edge, blood-soaked, blackened thrash metal from Perth, Western Ausralia. Malignant Monster entered the metal world with the release of their, independently distributed, 2003 demo “Welcome to Your Doom”. Despite the fact that they were only a two-piece, used a drum machine, didn’t record bass and had never played live, Malignant Monster began to attract a large underground fanbase and their raw home-demo received an overwhelming response from international metal media.

Artist Type:

Suffer

There are at least six bands called Suffer: 1. Suffer is an Australian hardcore punk band. They're from Perth and have released one demo, CDR/tape titled Blood Wars, a split with 7" Pathetic Human and have just released their first full length LP 'Lone'. 2. Swedish Suffer formed in 1988. The band had a raw, yet somewhat technical sound, unlike many "straight to the point" bands. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 1994 after releasing only one album, "Structures", a few EP's, most notably "Global Warming", and two demos.

Debut ep, The Great Corruption, coming soon! Keep posted for upcoming shows.

Artist Type:

Alice Through The Windshield Glass

Formed in late 2007, Sydney's Alice Through The Windshield Glass ruthlessly fuse tech-death metal and hardcore, creating a menacing brand of modern death metal. Comprising of their 5 original members, the band have developed a predominantly deathcore sound with a writing style not commonly seen in Australia. Grant Eidintas and Adrian Sahid's guitar riffage have an evident European flair, accompanied by unrelentless waves of blast beats and double kick rhythms by Tim Cetin.

Artist Type:

Ghostly

Ghostly is an extreme drone/industrial metal project led by Deaemae. The project is drum machine driven band that relies on repetative guitar riffs or droning noise with usually deep death metal-style grunts to high pitch black metal screeches. The project has a primitive sound that Deaemae purposely tries achieving to create a "dark atmosphere." Initially, the project started off as a project that would play pure death metal with doom metal touches. Eventually, the project took a change incorporating more industrial tones to the music than actual death metal.

Artist Type:

Brutus

There are at least three bands called Brutus: - 1, a butterfingered, groovy and psychedelic hard rock from Norway After countless evenings and nights in front of, and around, the bar counter. After long, fiery discussions about the first Sabbath-album, endless arguments over what the best work of Hendrix is, and how everything just sounded so much better before - these guys felt the time was right to take matters into their own hands.

Artist Type:

Victim

There are at least five bands with this name. 1. Victim is a hardcore band out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
They formed in 2002 but their final show was held in 2008. 2. Victim was a punk band formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland that later relocated to Manchester, England in 1979. They disbanded in 1986.
("Victim" is not the same band as "The Victims", which was a punk band from Western Australia active from 1977-79.)

The Day Everything Became Nothing

The Day Everything Became Nothing is a Goregrind band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in Melbourne in 2002, The Day Everything Became Nothing continues to deliver extreme percussive grind that is characterised by its dirty, muddy sound. The band's name is derived from the EP of the same name by Canadian punk rock band NoMeansNo. The remarkably guttural vocals, by aid of a pitch-shifting Whammy pedal, are done by Tony Forde, of Blood Duster notoriety, but the band originally featured Kody Abrams.

Artist Type:

Intense Hammer Rage

Burnie, Tasmanian trio INTENSE HAMMER RAGE go all out to shock with their brand of gut churning Grindcore. The band themselves subtly describe their own particular brand of Death Metal as "Putridfoulfesteringdeathgrindcuntcore". INTENSE HAMMER RAGE announced their arrival with a 1995 tape ‘The 24cm Makita Brand Circular Saw’ capitalized on by the following years ‘Massive Sphinkta Release’. Although a quartet at this stage the band would dispense with their vocalist, for reasons as the band put it succinctly of being "lazy, whining, so called vocalist".
