The Acacia Strain is a metalcore/hardcore band from Chicopee, Massachusetts, US that formed in 2001. The band have since undergone numerous changes in their lineup. To date, they've released five studio albums, as well as two split albums. The Acacia Strain have said they dislike genre labels and instead describe themselves as "heavy." "You might hear other music that sounds like it, but those bands can't touch what we have. We have heart. We mean it." Lyrically, they base their music on "hatred, nihilism, humanity's dependence on technology, and my complete disgust for existence.
I Shall Devour is a 5 piece deathcore band from the Gold Coast/North Coast, Australia. The band started in February 2009, and consists of 5 members between 15-19. Born Danny Chung and raised in Philadelphia, Decipher experienced more ups and downs in his youth than many go through in a life time. To call his family broken would be a huge understatement. Conceived by a woman he would grow up calling “aunt” and a man that may have fathered him but was never a father, his biological mother was left with no choice but to give him up to be raised by her sister. In addition to all the family drama came financial struggles as well.
Incarcerate is a five piece metal outfit originating from in and around Hobart, Tasmania. Combining determination, many various styles of metal/music and adding their own style of playing skills and abilities to the mix. Thus creating Incarcerates unique and individual sound. The band was formed around 2004 with intentions to play some gigs and meet new people during the process. During the time from 2004 up until now the band has gone through many changes member wise and style wise. After many ups and downs with members, the line up finally feels right.
UNIVERSUM are an Australian based metal act. In mid 2008 the band released their debut full length epic 'Leto Destinatus'. The album was mixed and mastered in Sweden by Jens Bogren of Fascination Street Studios (SOILWORK, OPETH, AMON AMARTH) and features artwork by Gustavo Sazes of Abstrata (NIGHTRAGE, FIREWIND, SONIC SYNDICATE). Since the release of the album the band have been enjoying excellent reviews, great feedback and increased media attention, the most recent of which includes being featured on the UK's Metal Hammer and Terrorizer magazine cover CDs.
DAEMON FOETAL HARVEST was conceived in early 2006, by the two founding members, guitarists, Alex and Keith. Heavily influenced by old and new school death metal, Daemon Foetal harvest is a blend of viciously twisted rhythms, subtle melodic overtones and intricate lead work.
