Grotesque

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Grotesque was a Swedish death/black metal band formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in September 1988 from the remains of Conquest by Kristian Wåhlin (Necrolord) and Per Nordgren (Virgintaker) with the addition of Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg (Goatspell). The band was however short-lived and recorded a few demos and an EP. After the demise of the band Lindberg and Svensson started At the Gates, while Necrolord created his own band Liers in Wait and focused more on creating artwork for several bands including Dissection and Emperor.

Suffer

There are at least six bands called Suffer: 1. Suffer is an Australian hardcore punk band. They're from Perth and have released one demo, CDR/tape titled Blood Wars, a split with 7" Pathetic Human and have just released their first full length LP 'Lone'. 2. Swedish Suffer formed in 1988. The band had a raw, yet somewhat technical sound, unlike many "straight to the point" bands. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 1994 after releasing only one album, "Structures", a few EP's, most notably "Global Warming", and two demos.

Make Them Suffer

There are two bands named Make Them Suffer. One is a Dutch band making beatdown hardcore, the other is a symphonic death metal band from Australia. Make Them Suffer are a 5 piece Symphonic Death Metal band from Perth, Western Australia. After completing their line-up in July 2008 Make Them Suffer have since gained a solid fan base amongst the Perth metal community with the release of their 4 track demo. Band Website:

Macabre

There are two entries for this name. 1. Macabre are a pioneering death metal band from the USA. They were formed in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, and ever since have never had a line-up change. They blend thrash metal, death metal and grindcore to form their own unique style dubbed Murder Metal. Oddly enough, although being one of the first bands ever to play death metal, their influence is not as far reaching as one would think.

There are at least three bands called Brutus: - 1, a butterfingered, groovy and psychedelic hard rock from Norway After countless evenings and nights in front of, and around, the bar counter. After long, fiery discussions about the first Sabbath-album, endless arguments over what the best work of Hendrix is, and how everything just sounded so much better before - these guys felt the time was right to take matters into their own hands.

Against the Tide

An awesome melodic rock band whose songs are just as likely to get stuck in your head as they are to melt your face, AGAINST THE TIDE was formed in the summer of 2009 by bassist Mike "Mazz" Mazzeo, lead guitarist Dave Madura and drummer Kevin Reviello. After adding rhythm guitarist Mike "Skatz" Scasserra, the group sought out to find a singer. Within a short matter of time, they came across singer/songwriter Lauren Ashley Grygo.

Alice Through The Windshield Glass

Formed in late 2007, Sydney's Alice Through The Windshield Glass ruthlessly fuse tech-death metal and hardcore, creating a menacing brand of modern death metal. Comprising of their 5 original members, the band have developed a predominantly deathcore sound with a writing style not commonly seen in Australia. Grant Eidintas and Adrian Sahid's guitar riffage have an evident European flair, accompanied by unrelentless waves of blast beats and double kick rhythms by Tim Cetin.

There are at least six bands called Absolution: (1) a New York hardcore band; (2) a Los Angeles metal band; (3) a death metal band from Warwickshire, UK; and (4) a metal band from Manchester/Warrington, UK. (5) a heavy rock/metal band from Staffordshire, UK; and (6) a deathcore quintet from Australia. 1) Absolution was a hardcore band from New York City. Formed in early 1987, Absolution was made up of a diverse group of individuals.

Witchgrinder
