Born in 2008, In Trenches began sprouting from the ashen soil of I Killed the Prom Queen and Day of Contempt.
Yet far from an extension of past efforts, the time dormant has let their resolve fester into an entirely more intense creature, still grounded in heavy hardcore, but earthier, dirtier and spitting discordance.
Misshapen riffs twist as if trying to escape before being shattered into an abrasive breakdown, or a moment of ambient clarity.

John Doe refers to (at least) five different artists: 1. John Doe (born John Nommensen Duchac on February 25, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois) is the founder of the seminal L.A. punk band X, produced and managed by Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek. His musical compositions and performances are varied, including country and folk music. Doe also performs with the country-folk-punk band The Knitters and in 2009 formed John Doe And The Sadies. In the early 1980s Doe performed on two albums by fellow L.A punk band The Flesh Eaters.

Hailing from sunny San Diego, CA, SECRETS has already made an impact as one of the most promising up and coming acts in the scene. Armed with irresistibly catchy choruses, soaring vocals, and mercilessly dynamic breakdowns, its no wonder the post-hardcore five-piece has seen such success since signing to <a class="music tag"><a href="http://www.last.fm/label/Velocity" class="bbcode_label">Velocity</a>/<a href="http://www.last.fm/label/Rise+Records" class="bbcode_label">Rise Records</a> in the Spring of 2011. Velocity Records’ Dave Shapiro says, "When I heard these songs, I knew San Diego had yet another band that would be at the forefront of their genre.</a>

Meltdown could refer to one of several bands:
1) Meltdown is a Hardcore/Thrash Metal band with members based in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They have released two eps and a 7" with the most recent being "Demolition", released in the summer of 2007 on Malfunction records. The band often play shows with Shipwreck and other MVHC related bands.
2) Short-lived project of former/present members of Crainium, Crom-Tech, All Scars, Emergency, and Metamatics, circa 1996.
