Biohazard was one of the first bands to regularly incorporate elements of both hip-hop and hardcore metal into their sound; since their lyrical fare dealt with the harshness of urban life and the resulting anger and frustration, which both genres of music have been known to address, the connection only made sense, especially in light of Anthrax's highly effective collaboration with Public Enemy on 1991's "Bring the Noise.
FVK began, as legends do tend to begin, in a small not particularly mind-blowing district of our fair isle. Five whippersnappers of similar age, found each other amidst the inertia of modern living and forged friendships through shared inspirations and aspirations. As the passing of time left them in danger of stagnating, our heroes ventured to the Big Smoke. Life was harsh to begin with, but as with all those of a heroic nature, The Fearless Vampire Killers prevailed, dancing to the Ballet Of The Teeth and telling tales of Grandomina, a world of Wonder, Vice, Love and Lust.

The Ghost Inside is a melodic hardcore/metalcore band from South Bay, California. Their first release of "Now Or Never" on Mediaskare Records in 2006 was under their old name "A Dying Dream". With the name change occurring at the start of 2007, The Ghost Inside began to make their mark on the hardcore scene. April 15th 2008 marked the date when they released their debut full-length record titled "Fury and the Fallen Ones"

New York's Merauder were on the forefront of the metalcore wave in the early '90s, and few bands have had the pleasure of receiving the worldwide attention and embellishing the genre's conviction as they have.
After forming in late 2009 The Turning Tide have been busy writing and jamming to put together the music which is quickly earning them a reputation of being one of Sydney's up and coming heavy outfits in 2010.
