Starless & Bible Black

Starless & Bible Black are a Manchester based new-folk band with a French Singer. Their self-title debut lp was released in October 2006. The band's name originates with a line from Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, via a tune by British Jazz pianist Stan Tracey and a King Crimson lp title. The band's line-up is-

Hole

There are two artists known as Hole: 1) the American alternative rock band fronted by Courtney Love, and 2) a British experimental project active in the late 1980s. 1) Hole is an American alternative rock band that initially formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Courtney Love and guitarist Eric Erlandson. Deftones

Deftones is an American rock band from Sacramento, California formed in 1988, consisting of Chino Moreno (lead vocals and guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Chi Cheng (bass), Frank Delgado (keyboards and turntables), and Abe Cunningham (drums and percussion). While they were mostly considered as a nu metal band in their early years, their sound progressively evolved into something more complex and experimental, as a result they are often coined today as an alternative metal band.

Hot Water Music

Hot Water Music is a Gainesville, Florida punk outfit known for Chuck Ragan's raspy vocals, as well as their searing Jawbreaker-esque guitars on earlier albums. The act first formed in 1993, and their first record, Finding the Rhythms, was released on No Idea and Toy Box records. Many fans commonly refer to Hot Water Music as the abbreviation, HWM. The name Hot Water Music comes from a Charles Bukowski book.

Elbow is an alternative rock band which formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, England in 1990 while at sixth-form college. The band consists of Guy Garvey (vocals, guitar), Mark Potter (guitar, vocals), Pete Turner (bass), Craig Potter (keyboards) and Richard Jupp (drums). dud

Dud is a french local band, that hangs around Aix-en-Provence, near Marseille. Formed at the end of the last century, Dud mixes a lot of different influences from PJ harvey and the black keys to Nirvana, Noir désir and Bérurier Noir. The result is a punk-blues-approximative rock, in english as well as in french .

Terrible Things

1927

The story of Eric Weideman and his exâ€“band 1927 is one of the most intriguing in recent Australian pop history. In 1988, the group was a truly local phenomenon, selling more than 350,000 copies of their debut album "...ish".

Drawn inexorably into the vortex of mass success, 1927 swiftly lost control, playing out a familiar rock tune: the group's second album, The Other Side, failed to match the sales of its predecessor and 1927 gradually slipped from view even as it began to buckle under the strain of touring.
