Steve Stevens (born as Steve Schneider on May 5, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for playing for other artists (most notably <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Billy+Idol" class="bbcode_artist">Billy Idol</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Vince+Neil" class="bbcode_artist">Vince Neil</a>) and less known, but critically acclaimed for his solo efforts (<a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Steve+Stevens%27+Atomic+Playboys" class="bbcode_artist">Steve Stevens' Atomic Playboys</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/The+Flamenco+A+Go+Go" class="bbcode_artist">The Flamenco A Go Go</a>), collaborations (<a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Bozzio+Levin+Stevens" class="bbcode_artist">Bozzio Levin Stevens</a>, a.k.a. Black Light Syndrome), as an in-demand session guitarist, and guitar instructor.

What has become of Heartbreak Club (HBC)? Once a straight-up parody of angst-ridden pop, HBC are rapidly becoming Australia's beacon of hope for Geek Rock; spearheading a new wave of 1990's inspired intelligent, ironic and self-deprecating punk-infused tunes. In doing so, HBC have recorded a new, darker and grittier album that is 'unapologetically melodic; adopting a brutally honest, confessional and grungier tone' than previous efforts, with the band noting their admiration for Weezer, Regurgitator, Blink 182 and Nirvana. They are still geeks, however.

Turbonegro (known as Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian punk rock band from Oslo, formed in 1989. The band describes themselves as "death punk." The band started with Thomas Seltzer (the bassist, Happy-Tom as he is also called) setting up a band with some friends, called Akutt Innleggelse. They played some local concerts, and made an EP, including 3 songs, "CIA/KGB", "Supertstjerne" and "Lovesong", written by Thomas. The EP was named "Echoes From the Asylum". The cover art is a drawing of a skeleton, which Thomas found in his mothers book about the Scottish psychologist R.

Los Lobos is a mexican-american rock band from East Los Angeles, heavily influenced by rock and roll, tex-mex, country music, folk, blues, and traditional spanish / mexican music such as boleros and norteños. Formed in the late 1970's, band members Dave Hidalgo, Cesar Rojas, Steve Berlin, Louie Pérez and Conrad Lozano became the bellwether for Mexican-American music in the U.S. when they recorded the music for "La Bamba" in 1987, which added popular acclaim to the critical praise they had received for their 1984 album "How Will the Wolf Survive?".
