Gabriel & Dresden

Gabriel & Dresden were Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden of San Francisco, California. They were DJs and producers who create and mix progressive house and progressive trance music. They were also the production unit behind Motorcycle and Andain. As of March 30th 2008 the group decided to take a break due to both personal and musical reasons, both focusing on their solo careers from here on. The two are best known for their remixes.

Waiting Room

There are 4 artists with the name Waiting Room: 1) Waiting Room is a band from Ireland. They have released two LPs: Catering for Headphones and Battle Lines Are Gently Drawn, as well as a seven inch split. Having officially seperated before the release of Battle Lines Are Gently Drawn, they played a once-off gig in order to launch the album. Talkshow Boy

Talkshow Boy describes his music as "Hyperactive Glitch Pop", and you couldn't think of a better name for it. Listening to one of his albums is like watching a bunch of rats on speed eat their way through a wall of fairy floss, or riding on the back of a killer whale 2,000 feet below the surface. The only thing surpassing his recordings in sheer energy levels are his live performances, in which he walks about the entire venue interacting with the audience, when he's not rolling around on the floor or dancing like a madman.

Flight of the Conchords

Flight of the Conchords is a Grammy award-winning folk/pop/comedy duo comprised of Bret Mckenzie formerly of The Black Seeds, Video Kid, and Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra fame and Jemaine Clement formerly of The Humourbeasts, who met in 1998 while studying film and theatre in Wellington, New Zealand. Billing themselves as "New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo", the group uses a combination of witty banter and acoustic guitars to work the audience.

Funeral Party

Funeral Party is a four-piece band that formed late one night in a park. Hardcore bands and metal bands dominated the local music scene at the time in Whittier, California, an East Los Angeles suburb comprised of mostly working-class enclaves. In the East Los Angeles neighborhoods adjacent to Whittier however, a post-punk dance-craze revival was emerging and Funeral Party began gigging every weekend. The band quickly developed a following and a D.I.Y.

Ben Browning

A pulsating solo effort from electronic pop crooning man-child and Cut Copy bassist Ben Browning is the shiniest, newest addition to the Cutters stable of artists. Prior to starting on Cut Copy's most recent album Zonoscope, Ben Browning dug into his trusty mind-hole and began penning tracks for a solo release. The Head And The Heart

The Head and the Heart is a folk band which formed in 2009 in Seattle, Washington, United States. The band consists of Josiah Johnson (vocals, guitar), Jonathan Russell (vocals, guitar), Charity Rose Thielen (violin, vocals), Chris Zasche (bass), Kenny Hensley (keyboards) and Tyler Williams (drums). The Verlaines

The origins of New Zealand's Verlaines can be traced back as early as 1979, with the group's founder Graeme Downes took direct inspiration from fellow Dunedin group, the Clean to form a band of his own. It wasn't until 1981 that the group made their first public appearance with their initial five-piece line-up. The band have so far released seven full-length albums on three different labels, one mini album, three singles and two compilations.
