3. a British contemporary string quartet 1) The Drones are Gareth Liddiard (vocals, guitar), Fiona Kitschin (bass), Dan Luscombe (guitar) and Mike Noga (drums). The group are based in Melbourne Australia and rose to prominence during the early 2000's. Like other Australian bands - The Triffids, The Go-Betweens, Nick Cave, and Dirty Three - The Drones left Australia in 2005 to concentrate on its European audience; however...

Daybreak

www.facebook.com/daybreakhc 1) Daybreak are an English unsigned hardcore band from East Grinstead. The band formed in 2011 after the breakup of C Is For City. The band is formed of 5 members and their 6 track EP "Worn Down" was released in April.
2) Daybreak is an unsigned indie/rock band who perform in the American Midwest. The sounds the quintet makes are intended to be composed movements reflecting the go-with-the-flow attitude we wish we all could have (all of the time), along with image-driven lyrics and rather strange, but infectious melodies.

Alpine

Alpine are a six-piece indie-rock band from Melbourne, Australia. National radio station Triple J played their demos on air and awarded them the ‘JJJ Un-Earthed Feature Artist Of The Week’ blue ribbon before they even had time to prepare their first live show. The band signed to Ivy League Records in August 2010, and released a single, 'Heartlove' a month later. Their first record, an EP titled 'Zurich', is set to be released in November 2010.

6. An Australian rock group 1. Cartel is an American pop rock band which formed in Conyers, Georgia in 2003. The band consists of Will Pugh (vocals, guitar), Joseph Pepper (guitar), Nic Hudson (guitar), Jeff Lett (bass) and Kevin Sanders (drums). The band is best known for their 2006 single "Honestly".

David Dondero

David Dondero is a singer/songwriter whose music has been compared to such American folk music/troubadour greats as Woody Guthrie and Townes Van Zandt. He began in 1993 as a member of the band Sunbrain, and later played in This Bike Is a Pipe Bomb and The Flatwheelers. He is currently on the Team Love Records label and has toured with such acts as Bright Eyes, Tilly and the Wall, Spoon, and Willy Mason.

The Maccabees

The Maccabees are an indie rock band originally from South London, based in Brighton, UK. The current line-up consists of Orlando Weeks (vocals), Hugo White (guitar), Felix White (guitar, vocals), Rupert Jarvis (bass) and Sam Doyle (drums). Former drummer Robert Dylan Thomas left the band in 2008 in order to enter rehab. It is not certain whether he will rejoin the band in the future or not. Lead singer Orlando Weeks stated once that the band came up with the name by flicking through the Bible and picking out a random word.

Kooii

The music of Kooii is unique, resting readily in a morphing Australian way of life. Their songs click with many, and the music is held dearly. Kooii breathe, roll and transform. They are a seven-piece collective with a ‘rootsy-tribal-groove’ that is both urban and earthy. Reggae, Jazz and Latin are realised in the sound. The group started some two and a half years ago as a duo of trumpeter Peter Hunt and percussionist Anthony Forrest (who both also play guitar). It has since grown to its present form.

Slow Club

Slow Club are Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor from Sheffield, United Kingdom. They sing using quirky lyrics, a variety of percussion instruments and great vocal interplay. They are currently releasing singles on Moshi Moshi Records and have been on nationwide tours with bands such as Fionn Regan, Noisettes, Hot Club de Paris, Tilly and the Wall, Jamie T and Jeremy Warmsley. The pair have released a series of EPs: Because We're Dead, Me And You, Let's Fall Back in Love, Christmas TV and It Doesn't Have To Be Beautiful. Their debut album, Yeah So, was released on 7 July 2009.
