KunvuK

David Hart - Vocals, Guitars
Luis Barra - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Virgile Coste - Drums “You’re all prostitutes, set liars, suck on my dollar sign, I’ll feed you God in an hour!” howls David Hart, opening the wall of rhythmic chaos that is Teeth Swallower, the lead track from Kunvuk’s second album Consume Rapture. Kunvuk are back and are more unpredictable, ferocious and indignant than ever before.

Metronomy

Joseph Mount used to be Metronomy. Oscar Cash and Joseph Mount are now Metronomy. Metronomy have come to be known for some super-cool remixes, dance-tastic live shows and an aversion to over-production. Metronomy (still just Joseph Mount) released his debut 'Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe)' to a modicum of critical acclaim. The name of the album comes from a car wrecker who lived in Joe's town of Totnes who was owed money by a man called Pip Paine. The car wrecker would leave wrecked cars around Totnes with the proclamation "Pip Paine, Pay The £5000 You Owe".

They were initially named <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Cherry+Five" class="bbcode_artist">Cherry Five</a> and were influenced by <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Genesis" class="bbcode_artist">Genesis</a> and <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/King+Crimson" class="bbcode_artist">King Crimson</a>. Their early work spawned one progressive rock record named after the band, until they were called in as replacements for <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/composer" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">composer</a> <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Giorgio+Gaslini" class="bbcode_artist">Giorgio Gaslini</a>, who had left the film Profondo Rosso after a conflict with director Dario Argento. They changed their name to Goblin and rewrote most of the score, including the famous main theme.

Lapalux

Sounds move with curious steps in the music of Lapalux, the solo project of Essex's Stuart Howard. His IDM and hip-hop influenced beat collages unfold like individual short stories, their layered tones playing into your emotions. The thud of bass pulses throughout his tracks, a steady stream of heartbeats that rise in and fall reaction to the excitement, the trepidation and the moments of calm reflection set by the marriage of vocal samples and experimental beatmaking.

HealeyIsland

Light Music meets Dark Electronica.
Described as music that has elements of warm jazz and light music mixed with close up electronic beats, basses, melodies and momentary glitches. HealeyIsland is the one man electronic music project of a South West, UK based musicalist and composernaut. An exploration of where genres meet and collide, a place where dark Electronica meets Light Music, the music is deliberately diverse and eclectic in its reference points. HealeyIsland’s next album, Not Afternoon, But Evening, is out on White Label Music.
