Only Sleeping consists of only one member, James Sizemore. Beat-driven electronic/experimental music. Only Sleeping is currently writing for a self-released demo, the finished product should be available later this year. Musical influences are: Nine Inch Nails, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Lustmord, Puscifer, Red Sparowes, Isis, Stars of The Lid, Ladytron, Crystal Castles, Etc.
Deep in the vast midwest Cincinnati's Foxy Shazam has spent the past year prior to their 2005 independent release (The Flamingo Trigger) writing, recording and carving their groove into the regional music scene with their loud atchable musical nonsense backed up by thier tideflunkty and marzegatie stage show. Foxy Shazam has strived to become a band that can take a non-directional sound and make it directional; utilizing blasphermizized piano and sloppy oof bass and guitar licks to create very organized noise which collides doosledly with a tastefully skewed pop sensibility.
Reuben Ingall makes various kinds of sounds in the noise/drone/glitch/experimental area, using found sound, algorithms/code, guitars and home-made contact microphones.
Australian, in his 20s, computer-music degree, also dabbles in film/new-media/net-art.
He released music under the pseudonym Sevenen from 2002 - 2006. He makes the majority of his music available free.

Comprising Alex Nosek (guitar, synthesiser, computer) and Jon Tjhia (guitar, synthesiser, computer, drum set), the group focusses equally on improvisation and premeditation, with an interest in breaking from melodic and harmonic structure.

HealeyIsland is the one man electronic music project of a South West, UK based musicalist and composernaut. An exploration of where genres meet and collide, a place where dark Electronica meets Light Music, the music is deliberately diverse and eclectic in its reference points. There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Jón Þór Birgisson, aka Jónsi, is the guitarist and vocalist for the Icelandic band Sigur Rós. He is universally known for his soft inimitable falsetto voice. He has also released an album as one half of Jónsi & Alex with his boyfriend Alex Somers, formerly of the band Parachutes. Jónsi's solo album, Go, was released on April 6th 2010. In his solo venture Jónsi departs from the ethereal, dreamy landscapes present in Sigur Rós' music and instead concentrates on shorter, more instant 'portrait' tunes.
Xiu Xiu is an experimental band originally from San Jose, California and currently based in Durham, NC and Brooklyn. The band is named after the main character of the 1998 Chinese film "Tian yu" (a.k.a. "Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl") Xiu Xiu was first formed in 2000 and is the main project of singer-songwriter Jamie Stewart, who records with friends on his home computer. Stewart's cousin, Caralee McElroy joined the band in 2003 and was the only other permanent member of the band until her departure in early 2009.
Since 1998 Joel Stern has made electroacoustic compositions and free improvisations using field recordings, contact microphones, a sonic raygun, a baby moniter, trumpet, silent brass, found objects, a gong, processing, feedback, rocks, keys, strobe lights, pedals, taisho-goto, slide guitar, mbira's and kalimba's, trumpet, gecko, string and instruments and processes too obsure to mention.
As well as working under his own name, Joel plays in bands including Abject Leader, No Guru, impromptulons, Sunshine Has Blown, Gyanism.
February 8 2007: The trashy nightclub had sold out hours before hand. The supports have been and gone. The lights were dim and there was a hum amongst the crowd.
