TIM CATLIN is a Melbourne based guitarist and sound artist. His guitar practice focuses on extending the sonic possibilities of the guitar in live and studio settings. As a performer he uses customized and home-built effects, guitar preparation and constructed playing devices in conjunction with live processing and improvisation to produce finely textured and shifting fields of sound. He has performed at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art and the What is Music, Articulating Space and Next Wave festivals.
Halifax, Nova Scotia native Chris d'Eon, who performs under his last name only, has a passion for music that started at an early age - he began mixing together his own tracks when his parents bought him some synthesizers and a sequencer at age four. D’Eon’s musical interests expanded when he started college and began studying Iranian, Arabic and Turkish music. This interest took him to northern India, where he lived in a monastery and studied with a Tibetan musician who taught him to play the dranyen, or Tibetan lute.
Teebs (aka Mtendere Mandowa) has been in the right place at the right time. The avid skater met esteemed workaholic producers Flying Lotus and Samiyam at a 2007 Red Bull Music Academy function in Orange County and later became immersed in Los Angeles's weekly future-bass hot spot the Low End Theory, witnessing the Gaslamp Killer, Daedelus, Kutmah, and others tear it up on the regular. An Achilles-tendon injury forced Teebs to take a year off from skating, which allowed him to focus on his music.

Joseph Mount used to be Metronomy. Oscar Cash and Joseph Mount are now Metronomy. Metronomy have come to be known for some super-cool remixes, dance-tastic live shows and an aversion to over-production. Metronomy (still just Joseph Mount) released his debut 'Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe)' to a modicum of critical acclaim. The name of the album comes from a car wrecker who lived in Joe's town of Totnes who was owed money by a man called Pip Paine. The car wrecker would leave wrecked cars around Totnes with the proclamation "Pip Paine, Pay The £5000 You Owe".
Grizzly Bear is an indie/folk rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Their music uses melody and ambiance in conjunction with hazy-eyed choruses, whistles, piano, banjo, and several woodwind instruments. Grizzly Bear was originally the solo project of Edward Droste (vocals/guitar), who recorded his debut album Horn Of Plenty at home. The record was originally meant for his friends, but it eventually circulated and got a proper release in 2004, this time with the help of Christopher Bear (drums/vocals). A re-release with a bonus disc of remixes was issued in 2005.

The second is a Hip-Hop Instrumental band from Chomutov, in Czech Republic. Mainly producer and Dj is Michael Klega, teen music talent. The third is a group from the United Kingdom. Box Elder is a band from Adelaide Australia. Their sound has evolved between noise and indie pop influences including bands such as Pavement, Sonic Youth, Frusciante, Joy Division, the Strokes etc along that vibe. Shows may include second drum kits, glockenspiel, harmonica, synthesizer and a variety of percussion instruments, layered on top of three guitars, bass and drums. Oh, and delay. Their first EP 'Rewind the Fall' was recorded, mixed and mastered in their homes and will be physically available soon. Plans for recording of tracks for an album are evolving alongside new material.
