Akaname is an instrumental post-metal and experimental quartet based in Melbourne, Australia. The band has undergone many transformations in the time since we made the move to Australia. We said goodbye to a member, shed the old skin and engaged a new approach. Now we feel like this ever-changing mechanism has finally shifted up a gear. Kallie - Vocals (2005-2007)
Alex - Guitar (2006-2008) Ben - Guitar
Matt - Bass
Swampy - Sampler/Guitar

Emmure

Emmure formed in 2003. The founding members, Ben and Joe Lionetti met Frank Pamerei and Jesse Ketive on the internet and began rehearsals together. Mark Davis would later join when the original Bass player had to leave as the tour schedule Ben designed was too intense. Many have compared Emmure to The Acacia Strain and From a Second Story Window. Heaven Shall Burn

Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. The name is taken from a Marduk album titled "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered". In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: "It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning.
