The Acacia Strain

The Acacia Strain is a metalcore/hardcore band from Chicopee, Massachusetts, US that formed in 2001. The band have since undergone numerous changes in their lineup. To date, they've released five studio albums, as well as two split albums. The Acacia Strain have said they dislike genre labels and instead describe themselves as "heavy." "You might hear other music that sounds like it, but those bands can't touch what we have. We have heart. We mean it." Lyrically, they base their music on "hatred, nihilism, humanity's dependence on technology, and my complete disgust for existence.

Courting Pandora

Formed in mid 2005 and with a few line-up changes along the way, Courting Pandora were all set to record in January 2007, after a few problems an E.P. titled 'The Omen' was released Jan 2008. After playing shows in Townsville, Mackay and Cairns the decision was made to move down to Brisbane. Since being in Brisbane, new music has been recorded and will be released this summer titled 'World of Filth'. Band members include: Mathew - Guitar

Vegas In Ruins are a newly formed Metalcore band hailing from their hometown of Sydney, Australia. Since disbanding from their previous project, Vegas In Ruins have formerly introduced themselves with new musical ideas and hope to bring a new taste to the Australian metal genre. I Killed The Prom Queen

I Killed the Prom Queen is an Australian <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/metalcore" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">metalcore</a> band which formed in 2000 in Adelaide, South Australia with mainstays JJ Peters on drums and Jona Weinhofen on guitar. The band featured prominently on the Australian live music scene and toured the USA, Japan and parts of Europe several times. They issued two studio albums, When Goodbye Means Forever... (2003) and Music for the Recently Deceased (2006) – the latter reached the top 30 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Iwrestledabearonce

iwrestledabearonce are an experimental mathcore band from Shreveport, Louisiana. The band incorporate various styles of music and shuffle through them rapidly but they do maintain an overall metalcore sound with electronic influence. Since their formation in 2007, they've released one self-titled EP within the same year via Tragic Hero Records and two full-length albums, It's All Happening and Ruining It For Everybody, in 2009 and 2011 respectively, via Century Media.

I Shall Devour

I Shall Devour is a 5 piece deathcore band from the Gold Coast/North Coast, Australia. The band started in February 2009, and consists of 5 members between 15-19. They are: Jarrod Eagleton, Kyle Erich, Zachery Watts, Rhys Foster, Matthew Thomas. We are influenced by many bands but wish to create a unique style of heavy music. Gallows For Grace is a technical death metal band from Perth, Australia. Formed in early 2006, Gallows for Grace is the creation of five like minded musicians aspiring to produce a new sound. As a result, their music has evolved into an original, energetic, brutal and melodic blend of death metal, metalcore and thrash metal with an extremely dark undertone.
A blazing onslaught of technical riffery, lightning fast drumming and crushing guttural vocals, GFG's debut EP attempts to push the boundaries of death metal by blurring the line between traditional and modern styles.
