Red Riders

Red Riders are a four piece band from Sydney, Australia. They play an angular indie sort of music, and have released their first album, Replica Replica, to much critical acclaim. They also have 3 other EP's released including Self-Titled, The Plan A and Slide In Next To Me EP. The single 'Slide In Next To Me' received much airplay on Triple J and was voted number 96 in the 2006 Hottest 100.

Hands Like Houses

Hands Like Houses is a rock group from Canberra, ACT, Australia which recently changed it's name from So Long Safety. The band is renowned for it's live performances and sophisticated musical style, garnering the group a large following in the Canberra area. As So Long Safety the group released one EP entitled "Bear in Mind, I'm a Lion" and were highly ranked on alternative radio station Triple J's Unearthed competition.

Bahamas

1) Bahamas is Afie Jurvanen, and for the last many years he's been playing other people's music-- PasoMino, Great Lake Swimmers, The Stills, Howie Beck, Amy Millan, Jason Collett, Hayden and zeus. He's spent the last few years playing piano and guitar with Feist. He walks with a strange and haunted gait, due to a horrible knee injury suffered while on tour, and it's rumored that this might be what led to the appalling "shorts on stage" incident. No photos of the crime have surfaced and the indie rock police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Faith No More, The Mars Volta, Björk and Glassjaw, the band's simple focus is to write music that is considered both innovative and accessible. Atlantis Awaits

Atlantis Awaits is an Australian rock/hardcore band that formed in mid 2009. Since then they've started writing and playing local shows. They just finished their debut EP and setting up tours. The band consists of Alice Jetson (vocals), Jimmy Moore (guitar), Tommy Caldwell (guitar), Steve "Tanga" Wright (bass/screams) and Robbie Allison-Young (drums).

The Soft Pack

The Soft Pack are an indie rock band which formed in San Diego, California, United States in 2007. They consist of Matt Lamkin (vocals, guitar), Matty McLoughlin (guitar), David Lantzman (bass) and Brian Hill (drums). They were originally known as The Muslims and released one single and a 12" EP on 1928 Recordings under their previous name. As the Soft Pack they have released two EPs. Their self-titled debut LP was released in February 2010.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are an American rock band led by Joan Jett. After The Runaways split in 1979, Jett pursued solo career and met Kenny Laguna and soon released her self-titled debut. Shortly after that, with Kenny's assistance, Joan formed The Blackhearts with three obscure New York area musicians: Gary Ryan on bass, Eric Ambel (replaced shortly thereafter by Rick Byrd) on guitar and Lee Crystal on drums.

The Greenhornes

The Greenhornes are a rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, featuring Craig Fox on lead vocals and guitar, Jack Lawrence on bass, and Patrick Keeler on drums. The band has released several full-length albums and singles. Their most recent release is a compilation of previously released material, Sewed Soles. The complilation was released quickly after East Grand Blues, an EP for V2 Records, which was produced by Detroit musician Brendan Benson. The band's collaboration with Holly Golightly, "There Is an End", was the theme song of Jim Jarmusch's 2005 film, Broken Flowers.

City of Ships

City of Ships is an active three-piece progressive / "post-" influenced rock band originally from Pensacola, Florida, United States formed in 2005. Members now live in various states of subletting and couch-surfing between Boston and Florida. Currently recording a new album in Brooklyn, NY with producer Andrew Schneider (Pelican, Cave-In, Daughters, Rosetta) set for release early summer of 2011.
