C.W. Stoneking

C.W. Stoneking is an Australian blues musician. Stoneking was born in Katherine to Californian hippie parents who had met at a music festival. His parents separated, and he was brought up by his father, a teacher in the Aboriginal community of Papunya. His interest in the blues was sparked while a student at Sydney's Balmain High School. He stumbled across some of his father's blues tapes. At this time one of his classmates was Alex Lloyd, also a blues fan, and they sometimes jammed together.

Clagg

Through a seven year history, Clagg have endured enormous challenges to emerge as one of Australia's leading doom and sludge bands. Building their sound upon a foundry of monstrous guitar riffs, a bludgeoning rhythm section and demonic vocals, Clagg have been persistent in spreading their evil word amid many setbacks. Following multiple line-up changes, Clagg are now at their most cohesive and crushing.

Fading Hour

Fading Hour is emerging as one of the most promising young bands to hit the Australian music scene. Their sound is dynamic, distinct and lucid, showing influences by everyone from Incubus, Tool, Dredg and Porcupine Tree to likes of Chevelle, Disturbed and The Deftones. Their music is an amalgamation of genres which can best be described as progressive melodic and heavy rock. The Melbourne four piece originally formed back in 2005, when guitarist Peter and drummer Shannon teamed up with Michael on vocals and Jono on bass.

1 - Against are an Australian (Brisbane) Hardcore band that have graced stages with some prolific bands such as Throwdown (USA), Numb (JAPAN), Ensign (USA), Day of Contempt, Identity Theft, Life Love Regret, Stronger Than Hate, Restraint, Mourning Tide and The Nation Blue. They have a metal sound with old school hxc style. forceful guitars and high pitched screaming. these boys know how to entertain, and will not be "Left For Dead" under any circumstances.

Trial Kennedy

Trial Kennedy are an alternative rock band from Melbourne, Victoria that formed in 2002. Since their formation, the band have increased in popularity significantly due to their prolific touring and from the support of independent Australian radio shows, such as Triple J's punk and hardcore-oriented show, ShortFastLoud. The band's unique name comes from a music teacher, Mark Kennedy. When the band met in high school, they were all seeing Kennedy as their guitar tutor."We all 'trialled' off him", noted guitarist Stacey Gray.

Peter Combe was a popular Australian children's musical performer in the 1980s and 1990s. His has had 22 releases, including 7 Gold Albums, 2 Platinum, 3 ARIA awards and 3 ARIA final nominations. Mia Dyson

As a little girl growing up in a sleepy surf town on Australia’s southern coast, Mia Dyson would sit in her father’s workshop and watch him build custom guitars by hand. He would play records by The Band and Bob Dylan and she would dream of playing lead guitar in arenas around the world. From an early age Mia was all too aware of the lack of female musicians she could look up to. “When people think of a musician or rockstar, they almost always think of someone male. If you want to be a serious musician/songwriter as a female, what is that? What does that look like?” says Dyson.

Space Invadas

Space Invadas is duo from Australia: Katalyst - a Sydney-based award winning producer signed to BBE & Invada Records, and from the UK, Steve Spacek - the acclaimed voice behind the ground-breaking genre-pushing group Spacek (championed by everyone from Entertainment Weekly to Mos Def). Their award winning collaboration, "How Bout Us" was one of Gilles Peterson's top 20 tracks of 2008. Their forthcoming album is entitled "Soul-Fi".
