State Of East London are a 5 piece all round metal band from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released a 6 track EP "Animasitas", and have recorded a full length album to be released in the 2nd half of 2010. Announced on the bands myspace on March 31st, Marcel (vocals) has left the band citing differences in music taste and influence. There are five bands with a similar name: 1. "The Chariot" The Chariot is a metalcore band signed to newly formed label Good Fight Music after putting out their prior three studio albums through Solid State Records. The Chariot was formed in 2003 by ex-Norma Jean front man Josh Scogin. Their debut full length album "Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, And Nothing Is Bleeding" was recorded entirely in one take, and was unmastered, which gave it more of a raw feel that was very similar to their live sound.
Incarcerate is a five piece metal outfit originating from in and around Hobart, Tasmania. Combining determination, many various styles of metal/music and adding their own style of playing skills and abilities to the mix. Thus creating Incarcerates unique and individual sound. The band was formed around 2004 with intentions to play some gigs and meet new people during the process. During the time from 2004 up until now the band has gone through many changes member wise and style wise. After many ups and downs with members, the line up finally feels right.
Born out of the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia in the Autumn of 2005, Anime Fire is a brooding combination of hardcore and electronic influences that have melted together to produce a sound and style that is dark, melodic, energized and emotional in its execution. The 4-piece delivers a new interpretation of melodic hardcore, when fused with modern metal and break beat electronica to create something all to their own. This is an act that is not afraid to push the boundaries both in the studio and with their live show.
Ill Niño is a band from New Jersey. The band was founded in 1998, they had released a demo EP in that same year with Jorge Rosado on vocals and Cristian Machado playing bass. The EP was entitled El Niño, when they were originally called El Niño, after the weather phenomenon. It wasn't until 1999 that they had officially formalized. After Rosado's return to his band Merauder, the band held auditions for a new vocalist, but ultimately decided that the best decision was for Cristian Machado to step up to vocals.
Road to Ransome was spawned in mid-2010, when Nath contacted Jake to begin a metal/hardcore band. Charlie joined on bass, and Ben was discovered screaming Parkway Drive songs at a random house party. Bec and Sam joined from the band We Are Dreamers, on keys and rhythm respectively, to give the band their unique, catchy-yet-brutal sound!
Three piece Metal band from Melbourne Australia. In 1999 they released their EP "Finally" in 2001. They have toured with Stone Sour, Machine Head, Mayhem and Destruction. Performed at Metal for the Brain and have appeared on JTV and Triple J's Full Metal Racket. Their debut album "The Meaning Unseen", released in 2005, was mixed by the famed and respected Fredrik Nordstrom in Sweden. Their melodic death metal style is a mix of the US and Gothenburg sounds with some clean vocals and both chugging riffs and the melodic riffs with good hooks.
Stick to Your Guns is a 5 piece hardcore band from Orange County, California. Very heavily influenced by the orange county hardcore scene, their music, message, style, and sound can perhaps be compared to bands like Bleeding Through and Throwdown. Currently they are signed to Century Media/Sumerian Records and have released two full-length albums to date. They will be releasing their third full length album June 1, 2010, titled "The Hope Division". Members:
