The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic music group formed by Liam Howlett in 1990, in Braintree, Essex, England. They have sold over 20 million records worldwide, which is virtually unequalled in dance music history. Their music consists of various styles ranging from rave and breakbeat hardcore in the early 90s to alternative rock and big beat with punk vocal elements in later times. The current band members include Liam Howlett (composer/keyboards), Keith Flint (dancer/vocalist) and Maxim (MC/vocalist).

Jimmy Edgar is the poster child of sound couture. He dropped studies in fashion and design to concentrate on making music, has a background in art production and style. He snatches influences from his native Detroit: its decay, its fashion and its eclectic music scene. Edgar has been stitching beats since he was 10, when he produced sounds electronically and fashioned his first analogue pieces. He was influenced mostly by jazz, funk, street beat and R&B in his early years. Edgar began his career by playing the drums in experimental bands and by making tape recordings.

Tijs Michiel Verwest (born January 17, 1969 in Breda, The Netherlands) is better known by his stage name Tiësto. He started out DJing professionally at school parties, and then moved on to become a resident DJ from 1985 to 1993 at several clubs in The Netherlands. It was at a club called 'The Spock' where things really took off for Tiësto; he stopped producing hardcore/gabber tracks and started to produce his own sound from 10pm until 4am on weekends. In the mid 1990s, Tiësto started to produce trance and the rest, as they say, is history.

Empire of the Sun are an electronic music duo based in Australia. Formed in 2006, the duo is composed of Nick Littlemore of Pnau and Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson. Their debut album, Walking On A Dream, was released on the 4th of October 2008. The first single from the album is also called Walking On A Dream and the second single was We Are the People. The video for Walking On A Dream was shot in Shanghai and We Are the People was shot in Mexico. Boys Noize is the moniker of Alexander Ridha, a German electro-tech producer and DJ. It's also the name of Ridha's label, boysnoize records, set up in 2005. Ridha was born in 1982 and grew up in Hamburg, Germany. Between the ages of 6 and 14, he practiced piano & drums. Once he reached fourteen he began to purchase records and produce music with software. At sixteen, he started to produce in a studio with a colleague who would later be known as D.I.M.. He taught Ridha engineering over the next 5 years. At 21, Ridha moved to Berlin, Germany.
