Dub Pistols

Dub Pistols are a London dub music band, founded by ex-club promoter Barry Ashworth in 1996. The other members of the band are record producer Lee Spencer, guitarist John King, bassist Jason O'Bryan, programmer Bill Borez and turntablist Malcolm Wax. Dub Pistols use a mix of big-beat techno crossed with a punk-rock attitude. The Dub Pistols were formed in late 1996, their debut album 'Point Blank' was released in '98 after they were signed to Concrete Records. The follow up album 'Six Million ways to Live' was released during 2003 and showed a change in the groups musical direction.

Tom Vek

London's eclectic one-man band Tom Vek (born 1981, London, UK) combines electronic music with indie rock, punk with dance, and influences like new wave and garage (and also made most of his early recordings in his parents' garage, too). As a teen in the mid-'90s, Vek was inspired by grunge and began making rock along the lines of Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam; before that, he backed his guitarist father on bass and drums in their practice space/garage.

Sasha

There are currently several Artists using the name Sasha: 1) Sasha, born Alexander Coe (born September 4, 1969), is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for partnering with fellow English DJ, John Digweed, as Sasha + Digweed. The pair released several mix albums together, including the Northern Exposure series (released between 1996 and 2001). They also released one of the all time best selling mix albums, The Renaissance Mix Collection part 1, in 1994.

UNKLE, a musical outfit founded in 1994 in London, England, United Kingdom. Originally categorized as trip-hop, the group once included producer DJ Shadow and has employed a variety of guest artists and producers. Sneaky Sound System is a Sydney-based dance/pop outfit featuring Black Angus, MC Double D and Miss Connie. The band has enjoyed considerable success on the Australian charts with hits "I Love It", "Pictures", "UFO" and "Kansas City", and have toured with the likes of Robbie Williams, Jamiroquai, Sam Sparro, and the Scissor Sisters. Ylem: Primordial substance from which all matter was formed. Ylem is a producer and DJ who creates as part of the music/art collective The Community, which has contributed to underground culture in Perth by providing a platform for local talent. YLEM’s experimental production reflects his taste for the emerging future beat sub-genres. The eclectic array of hypnotic beats he produces span dubstep/future/psyche/trip-hip-hop creating new auditory spaces.

Ajax

1. An Australian DJ 2. A New York-based Electronica / New Beat band, led by female singer Mitchel, who released the singles "Mind The Gap" and "One World" on Wax Trax! in 1989-90. The group's self-titled LP combined industrial and house, and became a minor club hit. Mitchel revived the name in the 1990s, most successfully on the 1995 "Ex-Junkie" single.
