Chairlift is an electropop band which formed in 2005 in Boulder, Colorado, United States. fun. is an indie pop band which formed in New York City, New York, United States in 2008. The band consists of Nate Ruess (vocals), Andrew Dost (keyboard, bass) and Jack Antonoff (guitar, trumpet). Ruess is a former member of The Format, Andrew Dost is a former member of Anathallo and Jack Antonoff is a member of Steel Train. The band also includes touring members Nate Harold (bass), Emily Moore (keyboards, guitar) and Will Noon (drums).

North Atlantic Oscillation

North Atlantic Oscillation are an electronic rock band based in Scotland. They released their first single 'Some Blue Hive' on One Records in June 2007. In 2009 the band signed to Kscope - a Snapper Music label - and released an EP called 'Callsigns'. Their debut album 'Grappling Hooks' was released in the UK in March 2010. Sunday Girl

Jade Williams Broxbourne, 1988 (22 years).
Sunday Girl is the solo project of Jade Williams who after some smothering signed to Geffen Records (Universal). The name comes from an old job she had in a Pet Shop where she worked every Sunday and was known simply as Sunday Girl. Her first single intuited as Four Floors brings arrangements Sinthy-pop merged for classical instruments, the music was co-written by the young and produced by Diplo.

Laura Marling

Laura Marling (born 1st February 1990) is a folk singer/songwriter/guitarist from Eversley, United Kingdom. She began playing the guitar at the age of five, first being taught the blues by her father in front of the family fire, and has been enthralled by the songs and lyrics of the likes of Neil Young, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and John Mayall ever since. It’s not just the “golden-oldies” that Laura admires; she also harbours a rather deep love for alt.country’s favourite son, Ryan Adams.

Gorillaz

Gorillaz are a British virtual band formed in 1998 by a collaboration between Damon Albarn of Britpop band Blur and Jamie Hewlett, co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl. They had the idea to create the band while watching MTV in their London flat and originally intended to call the project Gorilla. The band is comprised of four fictional band members: 2-D (vocals, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar, vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums). These characters only appear in animated form and are not alter-egos of real people, as is often mistakenly assumed.

Seaweed

Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, Seaweed was one of those 1990s bands that combined elements of driving punk and rock sound with emotional vocals and catchy melodies. They were signed to Hollywood at one time, and have released five full-length albums and multiple singles over the span of their career. Seaweed's musical agenda was close to the 90s post hardcore scene, with contemporaries such as. Samiam, Jawbreaker, and tourmates Superchunk and Quicksand. They were well-known for their cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Go Your Own Way' which appeared in the movie Clerks.

Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf is an English singer-songwriter from London. Wolf mixes electronics and samples with a wide range of instruments including viola, keyboards, ukulele, and percussion, all of which he plays himself to form a fusion of jazz, folk and electronic music. He began experimenting with sound and four-track recording at the age of 11, eventually building an arsenal of instruments that included junk-shop organs and a home-built theremin.
