Birds of Tokyo

It’s no secret that the landscape of Birds of Tokyo’s home of Western Australia; a desert-like state so vast and unforgiving that to provide it with a soundtrack requires a higher level of grandeur and majesty one would ever dare associate with the ‘pop’ music tag. But, down to its bones, pop music is what Birds of Tokyo write… they just layer those bones in muscle, and give the beast a heart.

(formerly known as Aces High) is a four piece alternative/rock band from the Sunshine Coast. Since forming the band some four years ago, the boys (now all age 18) have excelled in leaps and bounds, playing gigs in pubs and clubs around the coast including the grinning dog (Maroochydore), Billy's Bar (Gympie) and Kawana Hotel. They have also been showcasing their song writing talents in local music festivals like Velocity '08, HomeGrown '09, Shout Out Loud '09, and supporting Melbourne rockers the Skybombers and the Sands Tavern (Maroochydore)...

Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Chasing Light have been producing music for a number of years, and are now ready to share their music to fans everywhere via the internet. While genres are now banded around freely and of little consequential importance, Chasing Light can loosely be described as lo-fi. (1) The Butterfly Effect is a hard rock band from Brisbane, Australia, formed in 1999. They have built a reputation for being one of the most exciting and hard working live acts in Australia. Since February 2002 the band has toured Australia and Europe extensively knocking up over 800 national and international performances as a headlining act.

Alter Bridge

Alter Bridge is an American rock band formed by Brian Marshall (bassist), Scott Phillips (drummer), Mark Tremonti (guitarist) (members of Creed) and Myles Kennedy (lead vocals, guitar, and formerly of The Mayfield Four). Alter Bridge released their debut album One Day Remains in 2004, with the first single Open Your Eyes. Alter Bridge prefers to think of themselves not as "Creed with a new singer", but as an entirely new band. The name "Alter Bridge" comes from a bridge in Mark's childhood. Their studio album Blackbird, was released on October 9, 2007, with the single Rise Today.

Ed Kuepper

Ed Kuepper is an Australian guitarist, singer and songwriter. He co-founded the seminal punk band The Saints, the experimental post-punk group The Laughing Clowns and later the grunge-like The Aints. He has also recorded over a dozen albums in his own name with a variety of backing bands, notably Ed Kuepper and the Yard Goes On Forever, Ed Kuepper and his Oxley Creek Playboys, Ed Kuepper and The Institute Of Nude Wrestling, The Exploding Universe of Ed Kuepper, Ed Kuepper and the New Imperialists and presently Ed Kuepper and the Kowalski Collective.

Dredg

dredg is a progressive alternative band from Los Gatos, California, USA formed in 1993. Their first studio album, Leitmotif, was released by the Universal music label on September 11, 2001. Prior to that, it had been self-released by the members of the band. After the album hit music stores, Dredg acquired an almost immediate cult following thanks to Leitmotif's unique sound and concept. There has also been a movie planned for release as a music video for the entire album, though the project has been scrapped due to the death of the lead actor.

Rising from an intense search for the most talented girl rock musicians in the LA area comes the uniquely explosive alt-rock band "Cherri Bomb". Why unique? The average age of these rocker chicks is just 13 years old! Cherri Bomb combines their classic & current rock influences and blends alt-rock sensibilities with a pop edge to stir up rocking, radio ready, uber-memorable songs. Everclear

Everclear is a rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, USA, in 1992. For most of its existence, Everclear consisted of Art Alexakis (b. 12 April 1962, Los Angeles, California, USA; vocals, guitar), Craig Montoya (b. 14 September 1970; bass, vocals) and Greg Eklund (b. 18 April 1970; drums). Eklund replaced original drummer Scott Cuthbert in 1994. Montoya and Eklund departed the band in 2003, but Alexakis has continued performing as Everclear with a new lineup.
