Vitalic (born as Pascal Arbez in 1976) is an electronic music artist. He was born in France and is of Italian descent. His first singles were released in 1996 and 1997, but were confined to the underground electronic music scene. He decided to make music when he heard Daft Punk's Rollin' & Scratchin' in a club in his hometown Dijon. He became good friends with Michel Amato, also known as The Hacker, whom he met in the Rex, the "techno temple" of Laurent Garnier. The Hacker suggested he send his new tracks to DJ Hell, head of Gigolo records in Munich.

Midfield General, real name Damian Harris, is the original founder of the Skint Records label, which became the forerunner of the big success of Norman Cook's Fatboy Slim. Midfield General is the recording alias of Skint label boss Damian Harris. A prime architect of the sound of big beat, Harris grew up listening first to punk rock, then hip-hop, and finally acid house. He then moved to Brighton to study art, eventually taking work as a DJ while promoting clubs around the city.

Friendly Fires is a dancepunk band which formed in 2006 in St Albans, England. They consist of Ed MacFarlane (vocals), Edd Gibson (guitar) and Jack Savidge (drums). The band released their self-titled debut album on 1 September 2008. It contains the singles "Paris", "Jump in the Pool", and "Skeleton Boy", which is a rip off of Olive's 90s hit "You're Not Alone".
