All That Remains is a Massachusetts, United States-based metalcore band. Originally established in 1998, the group is currently signed to Prosthetic Records. Vocalist Philip Labonte was previously singer for the metal band Shadows Fall before he was replaced by Brian Fair. The band's debut album, Behind Silence and Solitude, was released in March 2002, prompting DigitalMetal.com to hail the group as "one of the premier metalcore acts this side of the Atlantic.
Mastodon is an American progressive metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 1999. The band comprises bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders, guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds, guitarist Bill Kelliher and drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor. They have released five full-length albums to date, expanding their musical borders from early raw Sludgy riffs to later psychedelic multi-layered songs, yet maintaining progressive style with unusual time signatures and odd instrumentation.
Formed in mid 2005 and with a few line-up changes along the way, Courting Pandora were all set to record in January 2007, after a few problems an E.P. titled 'The Omen' was released Jan 2008. After playing shows in Townsville, Mackay and Cairns the decision was made to move down to Brisbane. I Killed the Prom Queen is an Australian <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/metalcore" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">metalcore</a> band which formed in 2000 in Adelaide, South Australia with mainstays JJ Peters on drums and Jona Weinhofen on guitar. Pod People is an Australian doom metal band from Canberra. Their sound combines doom/stoner metal with death metal vocals. They have released three EPs, one album and one 7". Pod People have opened for the likes of doom masters Electric Wizard and Cathedral. The band recorded a new album over the later half of 2007 and early 08 and are looking to release their next album "Mons Animae Mortuorum" (Mountain of the Souls of the Dead) through Goatsound in Australia in August 2008 and hopefully Rise Above internationally.
