II is the one-man Black Metal project of DNAR. Formed in France during 2007.

ii (pronounced "i i") are a duo from Melbourne, Australia, who chart a course through guitar-based atmospherics, noise, instrumental pop and sound art. Comprising Alex Nosek (guitar, synthesiser, computer) and Jon Tjhia (guitar, synthesiser, computer, drum set), the group focusses equally on improvisation and premeditation, with an interest in breaking from melodic and harmonic structure.

Oxen

Oxen is one of the creations of Grzech Piotrowski – a Polish jazz saxophonist. A more renowned idea of Piotrowski is Alchemik, a group already well-established on the Polish jazz scene. Still, between Alchemik and Oxen much similarity cannot be found. In Oxen Piotrowski plays with his friends musicians – Marcin Masecki (piano), Darek Krupa (guitar), Piotr Zaczek (bass), Michal Dabrowka and Grzegorz Grzyb (drums).

Joel Stern

Since 1998 Joel Stern has made electroacoustic compositions and free improvisations using field recordings, contact microphones, a sonic raygun, a baby moniter, trumpet, silent brass, found objects, a gong, processing, feedback, rocks, keys, strobe lights, pedals, taisho-goto, slide guitar, mbira's and kalimba's, trumpet, gecko, string and instruments and processes too obsure to mention.
As well as working under his own name, Joel plays in bands including Abject Leader, No Guru, impromptulons, Sunshine Has Blown, Gyanism.

The Album Leaf

The Album Leaf officially began in 1998 as the solo project of Jimmy LaValle, guitarist for San Diego, California-based post-rock band Tristeza. LaValle has also performed in several other San Diego-area bands, including Swing Kids, The Locust, GoGoGo Airheart, and The Black Heart Procession. An Orchestrated Rise to Fall Jimmy LaValle had been playing guitar in the post-rock instrumental band Tristeza.

Ulrich Schnauss

Ulrich Schnauss was born in the northern German town of Kiel in 1977. During his formative years, he came to love a wide spectrum of music, ranging from My Bloody Valentine to Tangerine Dream, from Chapterhouse to early bleep and breakbeat tracks. There was not much opportunity to see his musical heroes in Kiel, so he moved to Berlin in 1996. By that time, Ulrich was already a prolific musician in such genres as ambient and drum and bass, with a variety of pseudonyms (most notably View to the Future and Ethereal 77).

Mount Kimbie

Dominic Maker and Kai Campos met at university and began making music together in a home studio in Peckham. The duo have developed a truly unique sound whose experimental rhythms lend themselves to the fringes of dubstep, wonky and hip hop, but ooze with emotion and echoing ambient soundscapes that take the listener to an entirely different place. Their EP, released on Hotflush Recordings, has already been well received, with support from pioneering DJs including Mary Anne Hobbs, Scuba, Rob Booth and Ramadanman

Adelaide Symphony Orchestra

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (also known as the ASO) was founded as a 17 player radio ensemble in 1936, in Adelaide, South Australia. The orchestra reformed in 1949 as the 55 member South Australian Symphony Orchestra. It reverted to its original and present title, the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, in 1975, and currently comprises 74 permanent members. Its music director since 2004 has been Arvo Volmer.

Astro

There are at least seven artists/band that go by the name Astro. The first is a 'space-noise' project by Hiroshi Hasegawa (C.C.C.C., Astromero, Astral Travelling Unity, Senssurround Orchestra, YBO²). Hiroshi's myspace page for Astro can be found here, and his official site containing info on his many different projects here.
The second is a new Korean R&B group formed in early August, 2009, consisting of 1 male vocal, 1 female vocal, and 2 rappers.

Mouse on Mars

Mouse on Mars is a duo from Cologne, Germany, that has been making electronic music since 1993. Their music is a quirky and sometimes kitschy blend of techno, trance, and ambient with a heavy dollop of analogue synth sounds. Their music also uses live conventional rock instruments, such as drums, bass, and guitar.

Explosions In The Sky

Explosions In The Sky is an American instrumental post-rock band, which formed in Austin, Texas in 1999. Munaf Rayani, Mark Smith, and Michael James had just moved to Austin from Midland, Texas, and drummer Chris Hrasky had just moved to Austin from Rockford, Illinois. The band quickly gained a reputation for their live shows even amongst other established local bands such as Lift to Experience. They also garnered a small amount of media attention as a result of their second album Those Who Tell The Truth Shall Die...
