Fever Ray

Fever Ray is the solo project of Karin Dreijer Andersson, who is one half of the Swedish electro act The Knife (the other half is her brother Olof Dreijer). Andersson was also the lead singer and guitarist for the defunct indie pop group Honey is Cool. The first, self-titled Fever Ray record was released digitally on January 13, 2009 and its first single "If I Had A Heart" was released on December 15, 2008.

Grouper

Grouper is the solo project for ambient musician Liz Harris, of Portland, Oregon. Harris' music is a mixture of softly-strummed guitar, Wurlitzer keys, and her delicate, dreamy vocals, all of which are heavily drenched in reverb. Harris’ first album was 2005’s Grouper, a self-released full-length CD-R, followed later that year by Way Their Crept on Free Porcupine (re-released in 2007 on Type Records). Other recordings include 2006's He Knows, released as a 3" CD, the 12" Weird Forest release Wide in 2007, and a 7" called Tried.

Mono

There are at least eight artists sharing the name Mono; The name is used by a Japanese post-rock band, a British trip-hop band, a Dutch post-rock band, a female Austrian reggae artist, a Swedish trance artist, a Korean pop ballad trio, a Polish hip-hop band and a new Dutch indie rock band.
_____________________ Japanese: Mono are a post-rock group from Tokyo, Japan formed in 1999. The songs, all of which are instrumental, are usually focused on layered guitar melodies. Strings and pianos are also prominently featured in some songs.

Rosetta

Philadelphia quartet Rosetta push the boundaries between metal, progressive rock, post-rock, space rock, and hardcore punk, employing an experimental songwriting technique filled with chaos and atmospherics. Their sounds range from Pink Floydian / progressive rock sonic layering to walls of pure static ambience to crushing, sweeping sludgey riffage. Scissor Lock

Scissor Lock is an experimental ambient project of Sydney musician Marcus Whale, primarily using voice, tape feedback and laptop processing. Since 2005, Scissor Lock has released music on sound&fury, HellosQuare, Monstera Deliciosa, Curt and La Main Gauche and performed around Australia with, among others, Seaworthy, Shannon O'Neill, Anonymeye, Seth Rees, Pimmon, Justice Yeldham, Jeff Burch, Oscar Vincente Slorach-Thorn, Knitted Abyss and No Anchor.

Max Waves

Check out the new album "Music for Microworlds"! Born in Treviso in March 1969, at the age of six Max Waves started studying the piano through private lessons, before entering the conservatory "B. Marcello" in Venezia in 1980.
A lifelong passion for computers and technology in general soon led him to prefer the study of the synthesizer rather than classical exercises to the point where he inevitably abandoned his academic studies and dedicated himself totally to electronic music.

Dieter Moebius

Dieter Moebius (Dr Morbius, born 1944 in Switzerland) is a German/Swiss experimental/krautrock/ambient/electronic musician. Moebius studied art in Brussels and Berlin and met there Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Conrad Schnitzler (Tangerine Dream). They founded a band Kluster in 1969. After the departure of Schnitzler, they changed their name to Cluster. Later Moebius and Roedelius founded the band Harmonia with Michael Rother (Neu!), which also collaborated with Brian Eno. Dieter Moebius was involved into numerous projects with such musicians as Conny Plank, Mani Neumeier (Guru Guru).

Nosaj Thing

Los Angeles producer Nosaj Thing crafts stately, ethereal synth-based instrumental hip-hop, with influences that range from Boards of Canada and DJ Shadow to Danny Elfman and Erik Satie. An L.A. native, Jason Chung was inspired at an early age by the hip-hop radio stations that the bus driver would play on his way to elementary school, and particularly by the Beat Junkies' turntablism on Power 106.
