It all started when Sofie, age 15, borrowed an old synthesiser from a friend. Intrigued and beguiled by its puzzling menu layout and strangely labelled functions, she was destined to ask "what does that button do?". High Wolf uses loops, percussive sounds, fuzzy keyboards and obscure sunken melodies to create a ritual space that combines aspects of exotica, ethno-flux, drone and minimalism while skirting the kinda haunted forests of tone previously the domain of Spencer Clark and James Ferraro.

Scott Kelly is one of three founding members of Oakland, California, United States experimental metal band Neurosis. Has been writing and publishing music since 1985 with Neurosis, Tribes Of Neurot, Blood and Time and his solo acoustic project. He has contributed guest vocals on three Mastodon recordings, Aqua Dementia from the album Leviathan (2004), Crystal Skull, from Blood Mountain (2006) and the title-track off Crack the Skye (2009).

From the salty tear-infected circuit boards of Cleveland, Ohio, comes 'Radio People', Sam Goldberg's synthwave commission for the ever-excellent Digitalis imprint. For the latter half of the '00s he's been a part of the same underground noise scene as Emeralds, running his Pizza Night cassette imprint and releasing a handful of rare tapes on Gneiss Things, Wagon and Weird Forest, among others. Radio People is a relatively recent handle he's been using for a trio of now out-of-print cassettes on Pizza Night, and this is the first vinyl product of that chemically imbalanced sound.
