Refused

Refused is a <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/hardcore%20punk" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">hardcore punk</a> band originating from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1991. The band's final lineup comprised its founding members, vocalist <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Dennis+Lyxz%C3%A9n" class="bbcode_artist">Dennis Lyxzén</a> and drummer David Sandström, as well as guitarists Kristofer Steen and Jon Brännström. Their lyrics were often of a non-conformist and politically far-left nature. The band released five EPs and three albums before initially splitting up in 1998.

Dead to Me

Dead to Me is a punk band from San Francisco. The band formed in 2003, shortly after One Man Army broke up and founding members Jack Dalrymple and Brandon Pollack sought out other SF punks to shore up the lineup of a new band. Jack shares vocal duties with bassist Chicken, who ayed in Western Addiction. Chicken's cousin Ian Anderson is the drummer. Original Guitarist Kyle from Semi-Evolved Simeans left after breaking his ankle on tour, and Nathan shortly joined after.

Blacklisted

Blacklisted is a hardcore band formed in Philadelphia. They have toured North America, Europe and the UK multiple times. After many lineup/health problems in 2006 facing what was almost the end of Blacklisted, they hit the studio in 2007 to record an EP for Deathwish Inc titled "Peace on Earth, War on Stage". Since its release they have toured the U.S, U.K. and Europe. Blacklisted continue touring the world, adding Australia and Japan to their list of countries they've visited, supporting their latest release "Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God" which came out in April of 2008.

There is more than one artist with this name: One is a 70's punk/garagerock band fronted by Jeff "Mono Man" Connolly, who would later go on to form <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Lyres" class="bbcode_artist">Lyres</a>. (həd) p.e. a.k.a. (Hed) Planet Earth is a rapcore band from Huntington Beach, California. They fuse punk energy with hip hop lyrics and instrumentation to form a sound they call “G-punk” (A combination of G-Funk and Punk). They have also been known to experiment with various other musical genres, such as reggae. History:
(həd) p.e. was formed in 1994 by African-American / Brazilian-American MC Jahred Shane and lead guitarist Wesstyle, both of whom saw each other in attendance at many of the same shows in the Los Angeles and Southern Californian underground scene.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are an American rock band led by Joan Jett. After The Runaways split in 1979, Jett pursued solo career and met Kenny Laguna and soon released her self-titled debut. Shortly after that, with Kenny's assistance, Joan formed The Blackhearts with three obscure New York area musicians: Gary Ryan on bass, Eric Ambel (replaced shortly thereafter by Rick Byrd) on guitar and Lee Crystal on drums.
