The Chariot

There are five bands with a similar name: 1. "The Chariot" The Chariot is a metalcore band signed to newly formed label Good Fight Music after putting out their prior three studio albums through Solid State Records. The Chariot was formed in 2003 by ex-Norma Jean front man Josh Scogin. Their debut full length album "Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, And Nothing Is Bleeding" was recorded entirely in one take, and was unmastered, which gave it more of a raw feel that was very similar to their live sound.

The Author

Two bands with the same name. 1) Many of the tracks listed here are errors, as audio production software Nuendo and Cubase automatically tag the mp3 exports as The Author - The Title as default. Hence unnamed mp3s are tagged as such.

Three piece Metal band from Melbourne Australia. In 1999 they released their EP "Finally" in 2001. They have toured with Stone Sour, Machine Head, Mayhem and Destruction. Performed at Metal for the Brain and have appeared on JTV and Triple J's Full Metal Racket. Their debut album "The Meaning Unseen", released in 2005, was mixed by the famed and respected Fredrik Nordstrom in Sweden. Their melodic death metal style is a mix of the US and Gothenburg sounds with some clean vocals and both chugging riffs and the melodic riffs with good hooks.

There are more than one artist with the name Carry Nation. 1) "Brisbane has given birth to a soulful and fresh talent, who titles herself "Carry Nation". Nation offers her audience a piece of her mind, and for thirty or so minutes the room is transformed. Although she has only been apart of the scene for 9 months Nation has played all the main stages of the valley district, and scored a record deal with indie label "Television Records". There is more than one artist with this name. 1. A 5piece Metal, Rock, Progressive outfit from Melbourne, Australia. Their debut cd 'Prelude' is available now from http://www.myspace.com/listentocircles or http://www.circles.bandcamp.com. Circles are currently unleashing powerful live shows around Australia with plans to hit overseas in 2011 with a full length album. 2. A one man band created by Ryan Dixon of San Diego, CA.

Chimaira

Chimaira (pronounced /kaɪˈmɪərə/) is an American metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 1998. The band is a notable member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Their band name is derived from the word Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. They play a style of mainly groove metal, with some metalcore, industrial metal, and death metal influences. Chimaira was formed in 1998 by rhythm guitarist Jason Hager, and vocalist Mark Hunter. The pair recruited Jason Genaro on drums and Andrew Ermlick on bass to complete the line-up.
