Meltdown could refer to one of several bands:
1) Meltdown is a Hardcore/Thrash Metal band with members based in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They have released two eps and a 7" with the most recent being "Demolition", released in the summer of 2007 on Malfunction records. The band often play shows with Shipwreck and other MVHC related bands.
2) Short-lived project of former/present members of Crainium, Crom-Tech, All Scars, Emergency, and Metamatics, circa 1996.

State Of East London are a 5 piece all round metal band from the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2007. They have released a 6 track EP "Animasitas", and have recorded a full length album to be released in the 2nd half of 2010. Announced on the bands myspace on March 31st, Marcel (vocals) has left the band citing differences in music taste and influence. Aveira Skies are a 5 piece metalcore act hailing from Perth, Western Australia. They made their debut in the Perth music scene mid 2011 and haven't slowed down since. After supporting big national acts Heroes for Hire and Northlane and debuting their EP "Longer Than Flesh, Longer Than Ashes" which has just appeared on the iTunes Bestsellers list for metal alongside acts such as Northlane, The Amity Affliction and Slipknot, Aveira Skies will be spending 2012 making a big impact on the Australian metal scene.

Comadre is a band from Redwood City (a suburb of San Francisco), California, comprising of former members of Heartcrosslove, One's Own Ruin, and Light This City. Their sound is an off-shoot of hardcore and punk played fast and chaotic with an abundance of energy, but also a large focus on melody and tunefulness. Their influences can perhaps best be shown by the covers the band has performed live, by groups such as Rites of Spring, Refused, Kid Dynamite, and Suicide File.
