The Complimentary Headsets are an indie band from Melbourne's south-east suburbs. In 2011 they released, "Up In Smoke", a 5-track EP with help from Tim Johnston (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Stereophonics) and Mat Robins. The boys have already tasted success via Triple J Unearthed, with the demo of the EP's lead track, "Welcome To The Fire", making it to #8 on the nationwide Unearthed Chart.
Line Drawings have just released their debut album take/over. Take/over was crafted in the summer of 2009/10 at various places in Sydney’s inner- west, and later polished at either side of the Pacific by Wayne Connolly (You Am I, Josh Pyke, Youth Group) and Bob Weston (Sebadoh, Archers Of Loaf). ‘Take/over’ calls to mind the places it was made. Its dissonant and dirty guitars recall the sounds of quintessential Australian indie rock while the easy complexity of the rhythm section would not be out of place in Chicago.

Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie rock band formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1997. The band consists of Ben Gibbard (vocals, guitar, piano), Chris Walla (guitar), Nicholas Harmer (bass), and Jason McGerr (drums). Death Cab began as a solo project of Ben Gibbard, now the band's vocalist and guitarist. Gibbard took the band name from the satirical song Death Cab for Cutie, performed by The Bonzo Dog Band in The Beatles' 1967 experimental film Magical Mystery Tour.

Matt & Kim are an alternative punk/dance duo from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2004 by Matt Johnson (guitar/vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums/vocals). Their simple, dance style rhythms and energetic performances have gained them a substantial local following and a formidable online presence through social networking and media sites like YouTube and MySpace. The group had sprung from the record label and media group "Iheartcomix", which released their first full-length, self-titled CD in October, 2006.
