Cauldron Black Ram
Cauldron Black Ram is an Australian black/death metal band with a thematic focus on pirates. The band was formed in Adelaide, Australia in 1996.The band is made up of Esh on vocals and drums (Stargazer, Misery's Omen), Alim (Mournful Congregation, Stargazer, Misery's Omen) on guitar, and Ishum on bass guitar. Cauldron Black Ram's sound has often been described as a fusion of old school death metal, with elements of doom, sludge and black metal. The band has also expressed a significant influence from USBM act Grand Belial's Key.

Opeth
Opeth is a progressive metal band from Sweden that is influenced by many diverse musical styles ranging from jazz, 1970s progressive rock, death metal, and blues. Their recent releases have deviated from their traditional death metal influenced style, with more emphasis on progressive elements. Vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt is also noted for utilizing both clean singing and death growls, often in the same track.

2) A black/death metal band from Germany (now split-up) ----- 1) Impending Doom is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. Brook Reeves and Manny Contreras started the band in 2005 with ex members Chris Forno, Isaac Bueno, and Jon. Heaven Shall Burn
Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn 1996, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name to 'Heaven Shall Burn'. The name is taken from a Marduk album titled "Heaven Shall Burn... When We Are Gathered". In an interview with the band at decoymusic.com, the band said: "It’s not that we’re huge Marduk fans, but we liked the name. It sounds a bit provoking and so people ask us again and again for the meaning behind our name. It has been like that since the very beginning.
