Monolith

There are at least eight artists with the name "MONOLITH": 1) solo project of the belgian electronic music artist & producer Eric Van Wonterghem (ex-Klinik, member of Sonar and Insekt) and started back in 1997. Features a mixture of dark ambient, industrial and experimental ebm sounds mixed with lots of outboard analog gear. 2) post-metal Monolith hails from South Philadelphia. Monolith will lull you with its complex and dark instrumentation and then hammer you when you are weak and vulnerable.

Machine

Numerous artists have used the name Machine, including: 1. HAKUEI (vocals) and Kiyoshi's (guitar) duo. Started in 1999. Hakuei's also PENICILLIN's vocalist and has a solo career, Kiyoshi has been in bands like media youth and Spread Beaver, as well as on a solo career. Machine began making fast, hard rock with a large emphasis on layers of post-production electronic work. As time progressed, Machine began to focus on a more straight-rock sound, while still incorporating elements of their older material sporadically.

Acumen relates to 4 artists: 1. French tech-house producer Antoine Garcin. 2. Prog Rock, Glitch, Post Rock, Ambient, Acoustic, Electro, Experimental producer on Benbecula records. 3. The former name of coldwave band <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/Acumen+Nation" class="bbcode_artist">Acumen Nation</a>. "Nation" was added due to a legal dispute over the name. 4. Experimental, Indie, Rock, one-man banded vision that began as a vibration. Then became light. Then became matter. Now misses being a vibration. This is what that sadness sounds like.

As the solo project of New York City's DJ Snarf, Cervello Elettronico deftly crosses genre boundaries to create aggressive electronic dance music with a nod to rhythmic noise and classic EBM structures. Influenced by such artists as PowerPussy, This Morn' Omina, Hocico, Synapscape, Asche, Oil 10, and Autechre, Cervello Elettronico has performed live all over North America and Europe and shared the bill with a multitude of well-known industrial and power noise acts.

Improvising duo from Canberra, Australia featuring Shoeb Ahmad and Evan Dorrian. Their sound is rooted in free jazz and micro-sound as well as bands like Fugazi and The Ex, utilising loops and processed melodies to build their songforms from. On any given night, they can work their pieces into ambient passages or post-punk riots. They have toured Australia, Malaysia and Singapore, playing shows with the likes of Adrian Klumpes, My Disco, Cleptoclectics, Akta Angkasa and many others.

The dark metal industrialists WITCHGRINDER rose from the deepest, darkest graves of Melbourne in mid-2009. Insurge were a political industrial rock band based in Sydney, Australia . The band was founded in 1993 by singer / guitarist Chris Dubrow formerly of Soulscraper Insurge combined samplers and audio loops with layers of acoustic and electronic drums and found percussion (such as old kitchen sinks and other scrap metal) mixed with punk influenced guitars. The sound was influenced by alternative, industrial, goth, punk, dance and Pub Rock (Australia).
