Newcastle (Australia) based , screamo/electronica band Falling for Beloved busted onto the scene in late 2006. The six-piece combine catchy lyrics, powerful screams, and brutal riffs, contrasted with clean back-up vocals and soft keys, as well as a consistently solid rhythm section with the bass and drums. In early 2007, they recorded their 4 track demo entitled "Ethereal Beauty" and followed it up later in the year with the release of their 6 track debut EP, "A Death In The Author".

There are at least 6 bands that use the band name Gold: 1. Gold is a French pop Group of the 80's, who came from Toulouse. Their famous hit-singles were "Capitaine abandonné", "Ville de Lumières". 2. GOLD formed in mid/late 2008 when the New Jersey band Alamance decided to split ways because of personal reasons/musical differences after a summer on the Vans Warped Tour.

A Welsh rock band on the rise, formed on 2006 in Cardiff, UK. They recorded their debut album in LA with Stuart Richardson and Mike Lewis (Lostprophets). The band then signed a one album deal with American record Label Rock Ridge Music. Since then the band has toured with Lostprophets, Funeral For a Friend, Silverstein, The Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses and Cancer Bats to name but a few! The band had their song You and Me featured on Activisions latest Guitar Hero game: Guitar Hero 5.

Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet called January Thirst. This did not last long, and in 2002 Funeral for a Friend recorded their debut EP Between Order and Model with their original 6-piece line up. After having been together for just a few months, the band changed their line up and subsequently signed a deal with Warner Brothers records for whom they recorded their second EP Four Ways To Scream Your Name.
