Funeral for a Friend

Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet called January Thirst. This did not last long, and in 2002 Funeral for a Friend recorded their debut EP Between Order and Model with their original 6-piece line up. After having been together for just a few months, the band changed their line up and subsequently signed a deal with Warner Brothers records for whom they recorded their second EP Four Ways To Scream Your Name.

Made In China

This page represents several different artists/bands using the name Made in China 1) Made in China was a post-hardcore\neocrust band from Moscow, Russia. The band disbanded in the fall of '09. Former members of the band formed post-metal outfit Cikuta. 2) Made in China (or Maiden China according to some) is four piece Prunk (mix of Prog and Funk) band, hailing from Omagh, N. Ireland. At the moment the band is on a hiatus as three members of the band go to university in a foreign land. However the band regularly reunites for the holidays to play gigs in and around Omagh.

City Escape

City Escape was formed in August 2007 and immediately started writing songs and hit the stage. A few months later in January 2008 they released a 4 track demo which appears on Myspace and can be downloaded for free. As the months have gone on since the demos release the 4 piece Rock/Ambient group has gone on to play a substantial number of shows across Australia and has supported acts such as: Thrice (USA), Closure in Moscow, All Time Low, Elora Danan (RIP), Craig Owens, House Vs. Seaweed

Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, Seaweed was one of those 1990s bands that combined elements of driving punk and rock sound with emotional vocals and catchy melodies. They were signed to Hollywood at one time, and have released five full-length albums and multiple singles over the span of their career. Seaweed's musical agenda was close to the 90s post hardcore scene, with contemporaries such as. Samiam, Jawbreaker, and tourmates Superchunk and Quicksand. Falling For Beloved

Newcastle (Australia) based , screamo/electronica band Falling for Beloved busted onto the scene in late 2006. The six-piece combine catchy lyrics, powerful screams, and brutal riffs, contrasted with clean back-up vocals and soft keys, as well as a consistently solid rhythm section with the bass and drums. In early 2007, they recorded their 4 track demo entitled "Ethereal Beauty" and followed it up later in the year with the release of their 6 track debut EP, "A Death In The Author".
