1) VICES are a six piece alternative rock band from the South of England, which unusually contains 3 guitars. They've been around for the last 2 and a half years, though they've been playing music for over the past 10 and their music has been described as a bar brawl between 'The Strokes' and 'The Rolling Stones' They've played such high profile gigs at Camden barfly, Proud Galleries, The Boogaloo and The Louisiana in the UK. They've even rocked the house at The Roxy on Sunset and the infamous Viper Rooms in LA, USA.

Funeral for a Friend

Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet called January Thirst. This did not last long, and in 2002 Funeral for a Friend recorded their debut EP Between Order and Model with their original 6-piece line up. After having been together for just a few months, the band changed their line up and subsequently signed a deal with Warner Brothers records for whom they recorded their second EP Four Ways To Scream Your Name.

The Almost

The Almost is the band of ex drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie of Underoath from Clearwater, Florida, United States since 2005. Aaron stated that this band is much more of a traditional rock project than Underoath. A Monster Monster is on the loose. The Almost’s second album for Tooth & Nail/Virgin Records began taking shape just as soon as the band came off the road after touring for their 2007 debut, Southern Weather, including a stint on that summer’s Warped tour.

Pierce the Veil

Pierce the Veil, formerly known as Before Today, are a post-hardcore band from San Diego, California. Pierce the Veil were formed in the fall of 1998 under the name Early Times. After recording an EP titled Roots Beneath Ideals, they signed to Equal Vision. Due to copyright issues, the band released their next album, A Celebration of An Ending, under the name Before Today, which was taken from the title of a song off No Turning Back, an EP released under Early Times.

The Matador

Since their inception, The Matador have continued to cast themselves apart from the Australian mainstream of heavy music by pushing the boundaries of sound experimentation. Their progressive and dark undertoned layers of music range from down tempo, complex soundscape arrangements to epic, driving walls of earth crushingly heavy guitars, drums and vocals. Hot Water Music

Hot Water Music is a Gainesville, Florida punk outfit known for Chuck Ragan's raspy vocals, as well as their searing Jawbreaker-esque guitars on earlier albums. The act first formed in 1993, and their first record, Finding the Rhythms, was released on No Idea and Toy Box records. Many fans commonly refer to Hot Water Music as the abbreviation, HWM. The name Hot Water Music comes from a Charles Bukowski book.
