Backsliders

There are at least 3 bands called Backsliders. One is from Australia (see http://www.backsliders.com.au) and the other, from Finland, is described below. The third is an alternative country rock band from Raleigh, North Carolina. Finnish biker band Backsliders were Marko Asser Hirsma (vocals & bass), Dan "Danny" Peter Wilhelm Eklund (guitar), Antti Kalervo "Ana" Haglund (drums) and Olli Sakari Hilden (except on the first two albums where they were a trio) (guitar). On the latest album Marko Kainulainen (played with Andy McCoy and Boycott) replaced Antti Haglund who passed away.

Saxon

Saxon is a british heavy metal band, formed in Barnsley, England in 1976.
As pioneers of, and at the forefront of the then new wave of british heavy metal the band enjoyed a period of prominence in the UK (including popular chart success) and Europe in the early 1980s, and later the USA and Japan. Saxon started in South Yorkshire, UK as SOB during 1976 with founder members Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson.

Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa (born May 8, 1977) just wanted to earn enough money to buy a deluxe Nintendo game when he started playing the guitar professionally. Then he met blues legend B.B. King. At the age of 12, his mother got a call from a local promoter, Richard Thornton asking if he wanted to be the opening act at a concert at which King was the headliner. After hearing the gifted adolescent play, King was so impressed that he invited Bonamassa to tour over the summer with his band.

Seether

Seether is a post-grunge band which formed in Pretoria, South Africa in 1999. The band currently consists of Shaun Morgan (vocals, guitar), Dale Stewart (bass, vocals) and John Humphrey (drums). The band has released six albums and is currently signed to Wind-Up Records in the United States. Early days, Fragile, Disclaimer The band was originally called Saron Gas, but changed their name to Seether.

Staind

Staind is an alternative metal band formed on November 24, 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States. After meeting through friends and covering pop hits of the day in smalltime clubs for a year and a half, Staind self-released their debut album, Tormented, in November 1996, citing influences in brutal latin thrash metal. Until recently, the album was difficult to obtain, as only four thousand copies were originally sold. Since then, the band's official website has released the album to meet the demand from fans.

The Casanovas

The Casanovas were originally formed in 1999 with all three original members hailing from Melbourne, Australia. The Casanovas was the brainchild of brothers, Tommy and Patrick Boyce and original bassist, Jimmy Lewis. The Boyce brothers met Jim while working together scrubbing pots & pans in the back kitchen of Pattersons cake shop in Windsor, Melbourne. The idea of the name ‘The Casanovas’ was partly inspired by the look of the ‘Casablanca’ records logo that featured on early Kiss vinyls that they all grew up listening to.

Def Leppard

Def Leppard are an English rock band from Sheffield, who formed in 1977 during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Largely on the strength of their albums Pyromania and Hysteria, Def Leppard became one of the top-selling rock bands throughout the 1980s, selling over 65 million albums worldwide, including over 35 million in the United States alone. Rick Savage (bass), Pete Willis (guitar), and Tony Kenning (drums), all students at Tapton School in Sheffield, formed a band called Atomic Mass in 1977.

Wild Flag

There are two bands named WILD FLAG: an American indie rock quartet, and a Japanese hard rock band. 1. WILD FLAG is a Portland, OR and Washington DC based quartet consisting of Carrie Brownstein, Mary Timony, Rebecca Cole, and Janet Weiss. The members of WILD FLAG have played in numerous and notable bands, including but not limited to: Helium, The Minders, Croissant Cocktail, Feeble Knees, Quasi, Dogz, Sleater-Kinney, @@@, The Consortium, Asia, and Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. WILD FLAG released their eponymous debut album on September 13, 2011 via Merge Records.

Blonde On Blonde

There are at least three bands who perform under the name Blonde On Blonde: a) Blonde on Blonde was a guitar-led psychedelic rock group from South Wales. The band was originally formed in Newport in 1967 by vocalist/guitarist Ralph Denyer, drummer Les Hicks, bassist/organist Richard Hopkins and guitarist/sitar player Gareth Johnson. Even though they enjoyed strong reviews from music critics and achieved massive exposure playing before gigantic crowds at the 1969 Isle of Wight festival, they never managed to generate much in the way of sales. They disbanded in early 1972.

Bad Habit

There are multiple artists with the name Bad Habit. 1) Bad Habit is a Swedish hard rock band founded in 1986. 2) Like many great punk records, this one’s almost over before it starts. While this isn’t quite great, it does cover all the hardcore bases: fast, loud, aggressive. The four song demo clocks in at just 5:39, but it lets up very little over that time. Bad Habit draws a lot from Minor Threat with just a slightly looser approach a la early Black Flag.
